Back and fessing up!!

So I weighes in Tuesday morning and lost 1.5lbs getting my 6 stone award :-)

As it was Christmas Eve some fellow slimmers and I went out for a Frankie & Benny's breakfast to celebrate... it has been going dramatically downhill from there!

Over the course of 4 days I had 4 christmas dinners and a family meal out... only one of which was on plan (the one I cooked on xmas day) I have eaten cheese, mince pies, biscuits, chocolate, pizza... need I say more! I got on my scales at home this morning and needless to say, the number staring back at me was scary! As soon as I stepped off those scales I gave myself a stern talking to, threw out all the bits I bought for Xmas snacks (unfortunately hubby still has lots of chocolate but I am doing my best to resist) barring my twiglets which will be a weighed out and syn'd treat from time to time.

After getting off those scales breakfast was 2 joes sausages, lean bacon, 2 frylight eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes (my first syn free meal in a few days!)

Lunch was a cheese and marmite toastie followed by a banana. (Syn free again as used the cheese and bread as my healthy extras)

Dinner was a syn free turkey curry with lots of added diced veg followed by some SW trifle at 1.5syns for the lot! I had half of it so have managed to get through my entire day on less than 1 syn :-)

I am disgusted in myself for falling off the wagon and eating as much as I did the past few days, but am proud of myself for getting back on plan and not just writing my week off. I'll keep you posted on how tomorrow goes!

Hanging!

So last night I drank lots of alcohol but managed to resist the food at the party :-) I am really pleased that I didn't stuff my face like I usually would!

Today, with the hangover from hell, I haven't managed to stomach much.

Breakfast was skipped as my stomach was too fragile.

Lunch was some chicken drumsticks (skin removed) left over from the party.

Dinner was 2 joe's sausages wrapped in bacon medallions served with roasted carrots and parsnips plus 1 syn worth of gravy.

So regardless of the fact I haven't eaten much today, I am happy with the fact that I have stayed on plan.

Hopefully the copious amount of alcohol consumed last night won't affect my week too much!

Treats....

So yesterday I allowed myself a coupke of treats...

Breakfast was 2 hifi light bars followed by a banana and a skimmed milk gingerbread latte. Used the mild as my hea and syn'd the syrup at 3.5 syns.

Snacked on some flying saucers (as promised!) Mid morning at another 3.5 syns. And they were much better than the roses I had on Thursday!!

Lunch was a jacket potato with beans and salad.

Dinner was a meal out with the hubby. We went to the harvester and I did my usual of swapping and changing bits on my mixed grill... no potatoes or black pudding and I even resisted the onion rings for once! I decided not to have them because of my 7 syns I had already, I would have been within my daily syns allowance even if I had them, but its time to make good  choices since I am chasing that award! I did have my fried egg at 0.5syn though and I had lots of superfree salad :-)

So 7.5 syns consumed yesterday, and I still have 92.5 for the week so I can have over my daily allowance at my xmas party tonight :-) I'm feeling positive, I just need to resist the buffet!! I think a big meal beforehand is in order!

Pointless syns!

Christmas is fast approaching and it's so difficult to say no to all those fat laden but wonderful foods!

Breakfast yesterday was a cheese and onion toastie followed by a banana.

Lunch was a difficult time... the office ordered pizza for lunch and it smelt divine... but I resisted and got myself a ham salad, an apple and a mullerlight from the hospital canteen!

Snacked on a pear and 2 roses chocolates mid afternoon (at 2.5syns each I feel like they were pointless!! Even more so when another department delivered sweets and there was a bag of flying saucers at 3.5 for the lot!)

Dinner was chicken thighs (skin removed) with carrots, brocolli and cauliflour.

So managed my day with 5 syns, still leaving me up to 100 for the rest of the week... so proof you can still have a treat and be on plan (even if you felt it wasn't worth it! Lol) but rest assured, those flying saucers have my name on them today!!

Saving...

So this week I will be saving the majority of my syns for my family xmas party on saturday. Today has been syn free :-)

Breakfast was 4 ryvita topped with quark, cherry tomatoes and smoked salmon.

Lunch was roast turkey with brussel sprouts and mixed veg.

Dinner was steak with a syn free peppercorn sauce (quark, peppercorns, stock and ground black pepper) served with carrots, mushrooms and a frylight egg.

2 benefit lights later on for my 2nd heb.

So a great syn free red day to get me started for the week ahead... start as I mean to go on I guess!! :-)

Weigh in...

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was too busy running around putting up other people's xmas trees that I even ended up skipping dinner!

Today was weigh in day, and I am pleased with a 1.5lb loss. Ive had a brilliant week and not given into to temptation when things have practically been waved in my face. I would have liked a bigger loss to get my 6st award, but I am only 1.5lbs away and I can't expect those massive losses I was used to when my body doesn't have as much to lose nowadays!

I am planning another red week, and minimal syns daily due to a family party on Saturday night... I hope I get that award next week!!

Winter Wonderland!!!

So went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland today and I was sooo worried about being off plan... lunch was 3 syn sushi... dinner was a pot of roast pork (syn free!) and a massive corn on a stick (no butter)

Did treat myself to 2 squares of fudge (syns unknown) but resisted the german sausages and burgers so overall very happy with how my day panned out!! :-D

Just tomorrow to get through before weigh in and I am in good spirits. Looking forward to those scales this week!

Still going strong!

So yesterday was day 1 of the weekend... and I managed it with only 6.5 syns :-)

I took 3 kids and my mum to the cinema in the morning so took a trip to asda first for my breakfast. Diet coke, carrot sticks, grapes and apple.

Was out and about with my hubby during the day so we had a late lunch/early dinner. Had a bit of a date night (as it was the anniversary of when we became a couple) so we headed off the harvester for dinner. I had a mixed grill, no black pudding, swapped my sausage for steak and my potato for flat mushrooms. My daily syns came from my onion rings and my fried egg.

Snacked on two clementines in the evening whilst watching Christmas films.

Today I am off to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland so have no idea how today is going to pan out. I have had wholemeal toast with marmite and 2 clementines for breakfast, so good start to the day, but I will keep you posted with how I get on in London!!

Office treats!

So in the run up to Christmas there are cakes, biscuits and sweets everywhere! It is lovely of people to put the time and effort into making treats and bringing them to work, but it's an endless task trying to resist them! Today, I had a gingerbread man... only to discover it was likely to have been 9 syns! No more syns today so still within my allowance, but kicking myself anyway for not resisting.

Breakfast was 2 benefit light bars followed by a pear.

Snacked on that synful gingerbread man and an apple mid morning.

Lunch was sliced gammon with carrots and savoy cabbage.

Dinner tonight was 3 syn free chilli & garlic sausages with a frylight egg, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and grilled onions. Was delicious!

So even though I had a treat, today has been an a good day overall. Now to just get through the weekend!

Red!

So at the moment I am attempting as many 'red' or 'original' days as possible in the hope of a weight loss boost before xmas.

Yesterday breakfast was half a cheesy marmite loaf with melon and grapes.

Snacked on a grapefruit mid morning.

Lunch was the other half of my cheesy marmite loaf with carrot sticks and 2 clementines.

Dinner was a SW grill up... 2 slices of wholemeal toast, syn free sausages, lean bacon, a frylight egg and lots of tomatoes and mushrooms :-) Usually I wouldnt have 2 HEB in a day, however on an original day you can.

Got home and snacked on a bag of Velvet crisps for 4.5syns.

Another original day planned for today, I'll keep you posted with how I get on!

Feeling good

So after my semi-decent loss last night I have given myself a talking to and I am going to make extra effort to not eat for the sake of it. I will eat when I'm hungry, and I will stop when I'm not!

Breakfast today was 2 weetabix with 100ml semi skimmed milk topped with banana.

Snacked on a satsuma and a plum mid morning.

Lunch was 3 slices of roast pork with 2 serving spoonfuls of mixed veg (cauliflour, brocolli, green beans and carrots) from the work canteen. Followed by an apple and a clementine.

Cinema date with friends early evening and to make sure I didn't eat high syn foods, or have dinner too late, I took a ham and egg salad then snacked on grapes and carrots.

I'm now settled at home with a 2 syn hot chocolate and tomorrow's lunch is cooking away :-)

Weigh in!

So after my upsetting couple of days I had a real pick me up today!

My day started with smoked salmon on wholemeal toast and fresh ground coffee.

Snacked on an apple and a clementine mid morning.

Headed off to the GP surgery to get results to blood tests I had last week, and they have confirmed that my hormone levels caused by my pcos have now reversed and I am now likely to be able to conceive! Absolutely over the moon!

Lunch was light as I wasn't overly hungry and weigh in was this evening, I had a grapefruit, another clementine and a fat free yogurt.

Went to weigh in and I am pleased to announce that I lost 1.5lbs. That puts me at a total weightloss of 5st11lbs so far... and only 3lbs away from my 6st award! And I broke tradition of getting a takeaway on my way home, I came back and made a small jacket potato with bbq beans and pickled onions :-)

Going to make a massive effort this week in the hope I can get this next award!!

Getting disheartened!

So after resisting temptation all day yesterday I have been finding things really hard today.

I have managed to stay on plan but having a sneaky weigh on my scales shows very little result and unless I have some big changes overnight I think it will be a minimum loss again tomorrow :-(

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with smoked salmon followed by 2 clementines.

Lunch was roast pork, boiled potatoes and cauliflour from the work canteen followed by an apple and a pear.

Dinner tonight was a grilled kebab from the local takeaway. I had no pitta, lots of salad and lemon juice so a maximum of 5.5 syns.

Really hoping those scales tomorrow show some results otherwise some drastic food planning may be in order for next week!!

Filled with temptation!

So today has been a day spent with two of my best friends.

Firstly we went into town to buy food. As one of them stocked up on sweets, crisps and chocolate I stocked up on chopped carrots, grapes and a curly wurly.

Breakfast was scrammbled eggs on wholemeal toast with mushrooms and grilled tomatoes.

Lunch was snacking on grapes and my curly wurly at 6.5 syns.

Dinner was Malaysian Red Pepper and Chicken Curry at 1.5 syns and pud was chopped carrots whilst the girls ate chocolate!

I'm now home and the hubby has just ordered a takeaway with battered chicken balls (my favourite!) Sometimes I wonder if people think it's easy for me to resist! But I'll do it, no matter how hard it may be... I am determined to get a loss this week!!!

Belated blogging

Sorry for posting late again, hubby was home last night and we were too engrosed in movies!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 Joe's Pork & Apple sausages (syn free!) with grilled tomatoes, beans and 2 scrammbled eggs.

Lunch was skipped as we were out buying food for Xmas dinner and Xmas decs!

Had an early dinner at Toby Carvery. Lots of meat and veg, no gravy. Only syns woyld be any butter/oil they used in the food so I will count 5 to be on the safe side.

Had a weight watchers hot chocolate mid evening which used my HEA and was 1.5 syns.

So good day all round, now off for a girly day with two of my best friends (and I'm taking ingredients for Malaysian Red Pepper and Chicken Curry!!)

Double blogging

Bit behind on posting, sorry!

Breakfast yesterday was 35g fruit n fibre with water and sweetener followed by a banana.

Lunch was a tomato mug shot, an apple, a pear and a fat free yogurt.

Have a dreadful cold so used 0.5 syns on a lemsip, followed by 3 jelly babies at 1 syn each.

Dinner was at the besties. Roast chicken with brocolli and root vegetable mash (carrot, parsnip, swede and a potato) with 2 syns worth of gravy.

So only 5.5syns and some really yummy food :-)

Got up this early this morning to prep some veg (carrots, onions, tomatoes, parsnip, potato) to slow cook a casserole ready for when I got home from work. Chucked in some stock and 2 chicken breasts to stodge it up a bit :-)

Breakfast was 2 benefit light bars, a banana and a clementine.

Snacked on a pear mid morning.

Lunch was BBQ Beef mugshot followed by a fat free yogurt, a clementine and an apple.

Had a peanut butter drink this afternoon (like hot chocolate but peanut flavour!) 4.5 syns for that. Have to admit, it was yummy but I felt like I wasted the syns as I could have a hot chocolate for less but at least I can say I've tried it now!

Pinched a quality street from mum when I went to visit, 2.5 syns.

Dinner was my slow cooked chicken casserole. Yummy!

So 7 syns in total today. Well within my syn allowances. Hopefully I can stay on track now!

Fakeaway!

So after my low syn binge on Monday I had a loss of 0.5lb last night. A loss is a loss and it is going in the right direction, just a tad disheartening that if I hadn't had the craving binge on Monday it would have been more. But onwards and upwards as they say!

Breakfast this morning was 2 benefit light bars and a grapefruit.

Lunch was chicken and herb low fat supernoodles followed by a clementine, an apple and some grapes.

Came home and snacked on a couple of picked eggs.

A fellow slimming friend and I decided to visit our poorly SW consultant tonight. She is unable to lead group at the moment due to broken bones so Terri and I took a hearty homecooked, healthy meal over to her to cheer her up. We wanted to make things which felt naughty but actually weren't so I made Malaysian Red Pepper and Chicken Curry and Terri made desert which was Cherry Almond Clafoutis. My curry was 1.5 syns per serving and Terri's pud was 2 syns per serving... and both were delicious!!! I will definitely be making the curry again, and soon!

So day one of the week has gone well. I really don't want to let anything get in the way this week, I have 3 weigh ins before xmas and I aim to lose 5lbs!! I can do this!

When nature calls...

So today mother nature decides to bless me with her presence... on one hand it was a good thing as I could have the final blood test required to send my husband and I off for fertility treatment... however; it is the day before weigh in, I feel bloated and I cannot stop eating!!!!

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast followed by a banana.

Lunch was a tomato mugshot, fruit salad and a fat free yogurt.

Snacked on 2 pickled eggs whilst making dinner. Dinner was 2 chicken breasts with sweet potato chips followed by grapes and a clementine.

Got into bed early as I was cold and I wanted to snuggle up with a book. Whilst reading I had a 4.5 syn bag of velvet crisps and thensnacked on seafood sticks, before I knew it I had eaten the pack!!! Not great, but I have only had 4.5 syns all day and all snacks have been free or superfree.

Hoping this bloating and increased appetite don't hinder my result tomorrow... I'll keep you posted!

Another birthday meal!!

Having a good day today :-)

Breakfast this morning was 35g fruit'n'fibre with a splash of water and some sweetener followed by a banana and 2 plums.

Lunch was a tomato, ham and cheese omelette followed by a satsuma.

Tday is my dad's actual brithday so lots of us got together to go for a meal. Luckily this time it wasn't cosmo!! We went to a carvery. I had 1 slice of each meat (gammpn, beef, turkey) 3 boiled potatoes, carrots, cauliflour, green beans, red cabbage, 1 stuffing ball (2 syns) and half a ladle of gravy (2 syns tops!) Resisted pud... instead I came home and made a fruit salad.

Snacked on a bag of sweet chilli velvet crisps (4.5 syns) and a fat free yogurt mid evening.

So 8.5 syns today, and feeling good. Also getting into the festive spirit, lets just hope I can get this 5.5lbs off before then!!

Double blogging....

Bit behind on posts, so my apologies.

Yesterday breakfast was 2 hifi light bars.

Skipped lunch was did funny hours at work which meant no lunchbreak.

Dinner was a rush job after picking up my new car so mum and I had a grilled kebab with lots of salad and a syn free chilli sauce (I checked all the ingredients with the kebab shop!!) As the chicken was grilled it would be lower syns but as usual I will count it the same as donner at 5.5syns (13 in total with a pitta bread)

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with BBQ beans and tomatoes.

Lunch was a social one, I had salmon with boiled potatoes and green veg. And the pub staff were more than happy not to include any butter, oil or sauce in my meal to make it syn free :-)

Dinner was cooked by the bestie. Rump steak (fat removed) with SW chips and mushrooms.

Snacked on a banana and clementine later in the evening.

So happy with the past couple of days, but I must stop skipping meals! Work hours are more normal as of Monday so that will help get me back on track!

Birthdays!

So after posting last night I had a very yummy dinner of 2 chicken breasts with lots of roasted veg (sweet potato,  brussels, red onion and courgette)

Went to the cinema and stopped at Asda on the way to pick up pre-prepped fruit salad, diet coke and some velvet crisps. So through a 2.5hr film only 4.5 syns were consumed! Even resisted a potentially sabotaging friend offering sweets (thanks, but no thanks Tilly! Haha) Overall syns for the day... 6!

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with BBQ beans followed by an apple and a pear.

Lunch was jacket potato with salad topped with crayfish.

Dinner was a meal out for my Dad's birthday... his choice of venue as he is the birthday boy... and, as all of my family members do, it was Cosmo! I had 3 small plates of food, no batter, very little sauces and every plate had at least 1/3 of salad or vegetables. I didn't even have desert!! And anyone who has ever been to an all-you-can-eat restaurant with me knows that I have a sweet tooth for those little puds! So yes, I could have had less syns but by no means do I feel bad about what I ate. I chose low syn options and ensured I had plenty of superfree. A couple of low syn days will level it out and hopefully get me a loss on Tuesday :-)

Weigh in post

So last night was weigh in time. I came home late, was in pain with this goddamn hip and quite frankly I just wanted my bed!

I am pleased to announce that I stayed the same this week, which I am more than happy with considering the food I consumed. I obviously managed to do some damage limitation as I am sure I deserved a gain!

So I have 4 more weigh ins before Christmas and I am still aiming to get that 6 stone award. I am currently 12st 12.5lbs and have lost 5st 9lbs in total. My interim goal is to lose another 5.5lbs by Christmas Eve, giving me that 6 stone aware and a weight of 12st 7lbs.

Nothing to get in my way this week, if I have any meals out they will be to healthier venues and I have no birthdays or social events to worry about.

I won't be posting again today so I will pass on my food intake for the day so far.

Breakfast was 2 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk followed by a green apple.

Snack mid morning was another apple (not been shopping yet!)

On reduced hours at work at the moment so I came home and made some lunch. I had a tin of Asda Lamb Tagine at 1.5syns served with cous cous with lots of added goodies chucked in (onions, tomato, mixed veg, paprika, mixed herbs, garlic and tomato puree) yummy!!

Dinner tonight will be syn free, a trip to the cinema tonight will be a struggle but as long as I can fit a visit to Asda in before hand I should be able to stick to plan :-)

Making up...

So today I have been trying to make up for the syns I consumed yesterday. And I have managed to stay syn free!

Breakfast was a wholemeal egg and lean bacon sandwich and an apple.

Lunch was carrot and sweet potato soup.

Dinner was 2 chicken breasts with roasted carrots and brussel sprouts :-)

So hopefully I have managed to limit the damage on tomorrow's scales!

Not to plan...

So today didn't go to plan.

Started off well with scrammbled eggs on 2 slices of wholemeal toast with mushrooms, tomato and a sprinkling of reduced fat cheddar.

Got to mid afternoon, shops were closing and hubby wanted to go to the local Harvester for food. I opted for superfree salad, a mixed grill with all the naughty bits removed but with a 0.5 syn fried egg and a plain jacket potato... then at the end, hubby wants pudding... so I wolfed down a rocky horror sundae! I'm not going to let it get me fown though, syn free again tomorrow in the hope of some damage limitation!

Catching up...

So the past couple of days have been catching up with friends. After being almost immobile for a week, Friday was my husband's birthday and as previously planned we went off to Cosmo with lots of friends and family for an all you can eat chinese. I had syns, syns and more syns, but I enjoyed every mouthful and I am back to no syn days to make up for it.

Yesterday, had an extremely busy morning with family visiting at home so breakfast was skipped.

Lunch was an 8oz rump steak with salad and a grilled tomato.

Dinner was an absolutely delicious homemade chilli made by my bestie. Less than 5% fat mince with carrots, onions, peppers, chopped tomatoes, passata, a handful of kidney beans and lots of spices... yummy!! She even served it with some brocolli and cauliflour instead of rice to give me lots of superfree :-)

Today I am planning to have another syn free day, I will keep you updated!

Quick meals

I'm not doing too well with the hip today so I've had things which are quick and easy to prepare.

Breakfast was 2 hifi light bars, a banana and a yogurt.

Lunch was a tin if chickpea dhal mixed with onions and mushrooms followed by grapes.

Dinner was 2 sliced chicken breasts with low fat supernoodles, brocolli and cauliflour. For pud I had a fruit salad topped with yogurt.

So another syn free day today... tomorrow won't be but I'll worry about that on Saturday!

Syn free experimenting :-)

So today I have been entirely syn free... saving as many syns as I can for chinese all you can eat on Friday!!!

Breakfast was a lean bacon and tomato omelette topped with my HEA of reduced cheddar and served with 2 flat mushrooms.

Snacked on a banana late morning.

Lunch was an experiment... Carrot and Sweet Potato soup. It was so easy to make and extremely tasty! Served it with my HEB of wholemeal bread and followed it with a small bowl of grapes.

Dinner was another thing I hadn't done before... syn free mushroom risotto (lots of mushrooms and onions for superfree) topped with 2 sliced chicken breasts. Pud was a pink grapefruit and a pear.

So a very good day indeed; tried new things, stayed syn free and also had lots of superfree :-)

Now I'm snuggled in bed with a book and a cherry & cinnamon tea!

Weigh in!

So tonight was weigh in night.

Breakfast was a late one as I didn't get out of bed until gone 10am. I had a a cheese, ham and tomato toastie.

Felt sicky in the afternoon (due to extremely strong coffee the hubby made!) so didn't eat anything else.

Got to weigh in and lost 4lb. That meant I got my 5.5st award and have a total loss of 5st 9lbs so far :-D I am also in the 12st bracket!!!

I came home and did treat myself to a small dominos pizza (well I have lost over 5.5st afterall!) and my hubby's birthday is on Friday and we are going to an all you can chinese in the evening. I will do weekly syns and have set myself a realistic mini target of 1lb loss next week.

Forward planning is the way to go!

Snacking!

So today has been a snacky day!

Breakfast was 2 hifi light bars and a grapefruit.

Lunch was a ham salad (made by the hubby... and considering he NEVER eats salad, I think he did a good job!) Followed by fresh pineapple.

Come dinnertime I was in a lot of pain and hubby had already gone to work so I chose snacky bits instead of getting up and down to cook. I had some Iceland Hoisin Duck Skewers (1 syn) a fat free yogurt and a bag of frazzles (5.5 syns)

No I'm snuggled up in bed, and whilst reading a book I had a chocolate orange benefit bar at 3 syns.

Well under my weekly syns this week, but still not mobile. Really hoping for a loss on those scales tomorrow!

Last night's blog...

Breakfas yesterday was 2 weight watchers sausages (1 syn) with scrammbled eggs, a flat mushroom and cherry tomatoes.

Again, skipped lunch. I wasn't hungry and wasn't just going to eat for the sake of it.

Dinner was a meal out with dad. I had a mixed grill (steak, gammon and chicken... gave my sausage to the hubby!) With lots of superfree salad. Swapped potato for 3 yummy baked flat mushrooms and no sauce. 0.5 syn for my fried egg, 3 syns for my onion rings and 1.5 syn for my butter on my HEB brown roll. So proof you cab still treat yourself and lose weight.

Today will be a good day too, but for now I am off for a blood test :-(

Skipping...

So I'm finding with the pain of my hip and it easing slightly when led down I have been staying in bed later... this means I have been missing breakfast! Tomorrow I am going to make a conscious effort not to carry on like that and ensure I'm up in time for my first meal of the day.

Lunch today was something whilst out in town, I had chicken and pepper skewers with salad, boiled rice and a piri-piri sauce at 3 syns. Was very yummy indeed.
Dinner was Birds Eye Baked to Perfection Salmon with boiled potatoes and mixed veg.

Feeling poop!

So today I am in lots of pain with this hip. Not very mobile and now having time off work, so staying on plan is an upward struggle. I have managed it so far, but this next week will really test my willpower!

Breakfast this morning was 35g of fruit and fibre with a chopped banana. As I had a late start at work I had breakfast early and skipped lunch.

Snacked on a pear late afternoon.

Dinner was chinese with mum and my friend (trying to stay on plan is also a task when you have a size 8 friend living with you, she moved in a week ago lol) I opted for low syn... Chicken and green peppers in blackbean sauce (5 syns) with steamed rice and a scoop of plain noodles.

So good day all round, but have to try and stay on track over the next few days!

Slacking

So I have been slacking when it comes to posting this week. Mainly because my painful hip has resulted in me taking time off work and my days are sort of gelling together in boredom!

I lost 0.5lb this week, was hoping for more but bearing in mind my one naughty day and lack of mobility I am just glad for a loss.

Breakfast yesterday was baked flat mushrooms filled with eggs with ham on the side.

Lunch was a cheese and ham toastie followed by lots of grapes.

Dinner was a naughty one... 17 syns on a jumbo hot dog, including roll and sauce. And another 5 syns on a bag of popcorn.

Today is going well so far, and I am going to attempt to be syn free for a couple of days to make up for last night

The day before...

Breakfast today was 2 sloces of wholemeal toast with ham and cheese followed by a pink lady apple.

Snacked on grapes mid morning.

Lunch was a mugshot mixed with some mangetout and a pear.

Dinner was toby carvery, but a smaller plate than usual as I weigh in tomorrow. Lots of veg and lean meat. Did have 2 roast potatoes for 3 syns.

Came home and had a highlights hot chocolate topped with mini marshmallows (well worth the 5.5 syns)

So I weigh in tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing how I get on. Hope it goes in the right direction :-)

Crappy blogger!

So another double blog tonight, but to be fair it was a night out last night.

Breakfast yesterday was cous cous with a rhubarb yogurt (0.5 syn) followed by a persimmon and an apple.

Lunch was 2 slices of pizza toast with tomatoes, mushrooms and reduced cheddar cheese.

Dinner was a meal out with friends. I dolled myself up and I have to say, I felt very good in a figure hugging midi dress! Starter was grilled prawn shewer on a bed of salad. Main was chicken breasts with habenero chilli powder on a bed of roasted peppers and onions served with rice. I figured as I was so well behaved for my starter and main that I could afford pudding. I had a trio of puds; a mini brownie, pinapple wrapped in a cinnamon tortilla and a scoop of ice cream... after much calculating I think it came to around 17.5 syns for the lot.

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast and scrammbled eggs followed by a banana.

Skipped lunch was we were having an early dinner. Went to mums for a roast. Beef and chicken served with lots of veg and she even did some boiled potatoes just for me :-) no gravy to save on syns. I did have an Asda mini brownie at 2.5 syns though.

Very happy with how the past 2 days have gone, and I even managed to be relatively good when I craved fajitas!!!!

Double blogging

So no post yesterday, I was really sore and after a night catching up with my bestie I just wanted my bed!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with light Philidalphia,  cherry tomatoes and ham followed by an apple.

Lunch was a mugshot, a persimmon, a fat free yogurt and a cheese straw at 2.5 syns.

Dinner was Maggi So Juicy chicken (2.5 syns) rice mixed with onions and peppers, brocolli, carrots, cauliflour and peas.

So only 5 syns all day :-)

Today breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with 1tbsp of extra light mayo (1 syn) followed by an apple.

Lunch was jacket potato with beans and salad.

Got home from work and after walking around in pain all day I didn't want to stand around making dinner so I had a grilled chicken and lamb kebab with lots of salad, no pitta. Again overestimating the syns at 5.5 but better to be safe than sorry. And for pud I had a couple of plums.

So a the week is going well so far, have a meal out tomorrow night but I will plan in advance what to have. But for now, I want my bed! Night all!!

Feeling good :-)

So I didn't post last night but that's solely because I was knackered and in pain after aquafit and I just wanted my bed!

Breakfast yesterday was cous cous with an apple crumble yogurt (1/2 syn) followed by a banana.

Lunch was food day at work. I made syn free tomato pasta, a colleague did syn free lentil dhal and there was salad and cherry tomatoes to have too, so I managed a completely syn free lunch :-)

Dinner was a SW grill up. 1 syn for my sausages, lean bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrammbled eggs, beans and 2 wholemeal toast :-)

So I have been having some problema with an extremely painful hip the past few days, but I decided I would do along to aqua fit anyway. I didn't put in my usual effort due to the pain but still managed a pretty good workout.

Got home and snuggled up in bed with a 5.5 syn bag of crisps. So 8 syns all day... in pain buy very happy!

Beating myself up!

So I weighed in tonight and am very pleased to announce that I lost 1.5lbs :-)

Now I have come to a realisation... since coming back from my honeymoon I have allowed myself one to two naughty days a week. I have saved syns up to allow for them but the very next day I beat myself up about it! I either need to cut out the naughty treats or I need to cut out getting angry about them!

My plan for the week ahead is to do a food diary and hand it in to my SW consultant for her feedback. I do have a meal out for my besties birthday on Saturday but I am going to look through the menu, calculate the syns in advance and stick to my choice. That way I won't get angry and I will still be 100% on plan!

I'll keep you updated as to how I get on!

Late posting!

So as you all know Saturday waa drinking night! I stayed on plan right up to when I started drinking, and I saved lots of sybs up so I think I was still within them come the end of the night.

Sunday was hangover day! Fry up in the morning (not on plan at all!!!) Then roast dinner in the evening, lots of meat, veg and boiled spuds :-)

Yesterday was a good day. Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast topped with banana.

Lunch was a Mediterranean mug shot followed by an apple and a sharon fruit.

Dinner last night was hosting for 3 of my besties. I made syn free chicken and tomato pasta topped with reduced fat cheddar :-)

Today is weigh on day so we'll just have to see how that pans out!!!

Catching up

Sorry for not posting yesterday, lots of running around and housework.

Breakfast yesterday was 2 hifi light bars and a sharon fruit (yummy!)

Snacked on grapes mid morning.

Lunch was a 1/2 syn spicy parsnip and apple soup, courtesy of a lovely fellow slimmer friend :-)

Dinner was roast chicken and vegetables which was syn free.

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with light Philidalphia,  cherry tomatoes and ham.

Snacked on grapes again mid morning.

Lunch was a Tomato and Herb Mugshot, a hifi light (3 syns), an apple and a banana.

Dinner tonight was the left over chicken from last night and salad.

So in the past 3 days I have had 7.5 syns. Giving me plenty for my party tomorrow evening. Hoping for a loss next week!

Splashing about!

Busy day today so breakfast was on the run, 2 hifi light bars and 2 easy peelers.

Lunch was a BBQ mugshot, a pear and an orange.

Came home from work and ate earlier than usual as I had a fitness class to go to. I has a jacket potato with curry beans and mushrooms. Nowhere near as good as the BBQ beans but still edible and only 1 syn.

Went and did some splashing about in Aqua Fit. Was really fun and also a good workout, we even booked back in for next week :-)

Was a bit peckish when I got home so I snacked on some ham and strawberries. A really good day all round and only 1 syn passed my lips. Happy me :-)

Double blogging

Sorry for not posting last night, mega migraine and an early night for me!

Breakfast yesterday was a cheese and ham toastie.

Lunch was egg and potato salad followed by a banana.

Dinner last night was carvery as I was in no mood to be cooking! I had lots of meat and veg plus a splash of gravy. Minimal syns :-)

So this morning mother nature made an appearance (hence the migraine!) Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast with ham and frylite eggs.

Lunch was a mugshot and a 7 syn Mr. Kipling slice (another office birthday!)

Got to weigh in this evening and lost 1/2lb. Considering it's my star week and I had a heavy roast for my dinner last night, I am very happy with that result!

Have a party this weekend, but I am going to make low syn buffet food and will do weekly syns, hopefully I will still get a loss on those scales next week!

Temptation!

So breakfast this morning was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with ham and frylite eggs.

Went to the cinema and whilst my nephews stuffed their faces with popcorn and rainbow drops, I had myself a skinny latte... was so tempted to get naughty cinema snacks but I didn't. So proud of myself for that!

Lunch was a tin of sardines in tomato sauce, a fat free yogurt and a pink grapefruit.

As I still had the washing up from last night to get on with I decided on a takeaway for dinner. I had a grilled chicken kebab with lots of salad and lemon juice. A chicken doner is 5.5 syns and then pitta is 9 so I will estimate my meal at 14.5 syns. I know it will be less than that as I had grilled meat but better to be safe than sorry!

Late blogging...

So last night I was looking after 2 of my nephews and also had the company of my bestie and her 6 year old son... hence no post... but I stayed on plan and I'm very happy about it!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with 40g reduced fat cheddar and worchester sauce.

Skipped lunch as I was out and about with the hubby.

Dinner was a slimming world chicken tikka massala with boiled rice, completely syn free :-) The boys wanted snacks for a movie night so I treated them to some dried fruit and low fat chicken snacks, I had a hifi light and a bag of sweet chilli velvets (both totalling 7 syns)

So very happy with how my day panned out, and chuffed with myself for not giving into temptation when the kids wanted snacks... plus I kept them healthy too!!

Synful!

So today started off really well.

Breakfast was a chicken, mushroom and tomato omelette.

Lunch was an egg salad sandwich, mullerlight yogurt and an apple.

Dinner was takeaway with the bestie. We opted for chinese. Ordered a meal deal and I definitely went over my syns for the day. But I'm not worried about it. A few days with low or no syns and I'll be right back on track :-)

Quick eats!

So today has been a day full of quick meals!

Breakfast was 35g fruit n fibre with a splash of semi skimmed milk followed by a banana.

A birthday in the office meant cakes everywhere! I had a very small slice of strawberry and white chocolate cake (syn calculator says it's 13.5 syns per portion if cut into 6, we only had half that so I'll count 7 to be safe!)

Lunch was a chicken mugshot, 2 easy peelers and a pink grapefruit.

Dinner was a quick one as I was meeting our wedding photographer. Jacket Potato with Heinz BBQ Beans and tinned mushrooms... quite possibly the best jacket potato I have ever had in my life!! And completely syn free!

So another good day today, and I even managed cake without gorging on syns! Oh I do love Slimming World!

Body Attack!

Another splendid day on plan. I am on a high after last night's weigh in :-)

Breakfast this morning was cous cous with banana, kiwi and fat free natural yogurt.

Lunch was a BBQ Beef Mugshot with yellow pepper, shaved carrot and red onion; followed by the biggest, juiciest red apple I have ever seen and a blackcurrant cheesecake hifi light.

Came home from work and had another hifi light (to make up my HEB) and a bana before heading off the the gym for a Body Attack class. 60 minutes of running, jumping, stretching and toning was vwry hard work but luckily I have 2 friends who came with me and I proud to say all 3 of us completed the whole class! Trust me though, we will be sore tomorrow!

Dinner was pasta with tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic, kidney beans, sweetcorn and tuna baked and topped with my HEA of cheese! It was devine (the bestie made it though so I can't take credit)

Now as I haven't had any syns today I am going to take my very sore behind up to bed with a hot chocolate (1.5 syns) and a bag of Sweet Chilli Velvet crisps (4 syns)... not a bad day at all!

Happy happy

So today was weigh in day.

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk followed by a pear.

Lunch was a cupcake baked by a woman at work and a Mullerlight yogurt (thought I'd have a treat!)

Got to group this evening and am very pleased to say that I lost 3lbs... and won slimmer of the week! :-)

Dinner was a low syn chinese with the hubby because, as you all know, I can't resist Tuesday treats!

So nothing at all to get in my way this week. My current weight loss is 5st 2.5lbs and I want to get as close to that 5.5st as possible. I am making it my mission to lose 2lbs on those scales next week!

Another guilt free day

Breakfast this morning was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with ham followed by some left over brocolli from last night's dinner (waste not want not and all that!)

Lunch was half a packet of Ainsley Harriott sundried tomato and garlic cous cous (1.5syns) an apple and 2 easy peelers.

Snacked on a pear mid afternoon.

Dinner was a chicken, bacon and mushroom omelette.

So all in all another good day :-) lets just hope it makes up for the weekend on the scales tomorrow!

Feeling in control :-)

So after my admission this morning, and my vow to stay on plan, I have stuck to it 100%

Woke up late so breakfast ended up just being 2 cups of black coffee.

Lunch was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with light Philidalphia and ham followed by an apple.

Dinner was a full roast dinner. Gammon (all fat removed) dry roast potatoes (which were the best ones I have ever managed) and lots of brocolli and carrots. No gravy so it was completely syn free :-)

I havd also had lots of fluids today so overall I have been completely in control. Now just to continue that tomorrow!

Now playing catch up...

No posts for a couple of days because of social bits and lots of shopping!

It hasn't been the best two days, I have eaten 2 out of 6 meals off plan. But I am back on it now. Not sure if it will be a loss this week, but I'm prepared for it.

So today I will be syn free and I will give the rest of the week my best shot!

Planning...

So today was another good day...

Breakfast was wholemeal toast with chilli Philidalphia followed by a pear.

Snacked on an apple mid morning.

Lunch was a salmon salad, with lots of added superfree... lettuce, tomatoes, red pepper, cucumber, celery and spring onions. Followed by a fat free yogurt and an easy peeler.

Had people to visit and places to see after work so I opted for a quick dinner. Pasta with chopped tomatoes, chilli powder and the rest of my Philidalphia allowance... for something I chucked together it was actually very yummy! For pud I had a bag of Aldi Cheese Curls at 3.5syns.

So again,  a good day all round. 3.5syns down for the week so I still have plenty to keep me going (101.5 to be exact!)

Got the girls round for dinner and drinks tomorrow evening, and thanks to some lovely people in group I hacmve a 'fakeaway' all planned out so I can still save syns... I'll let you all know what it is and how it goes down tomorrow!

Back in the habit

It's been almost two months since my last post. No excuses but to be fair it hasn't been easy maintaining my weight, getting married, honeymooning and moving house all at the same time!

So the last time I posted I weighed 13st 5.5lbs... I weighed in last week at 13st 10lbs so considering what I've been up to it wasn't bad at all! Lost 2lbs last night so I am well and truly back on track :-)

Breakfast today was 2 wholemeal toast with 35g light Philidalphia, a pink lady apple and a pear.

Snacked on an easy peeler mid morning.

Lunch was a Balchelors High-Veg Mushroom & Garlic Pasta n Sauce (stank the office out but it was worth it!) an easy peeler, pear and a weight watchers fat free yogurt.

Dinner was lean gammon steak with mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and SW chips. I also made a dip with my remaining HEA of light Philidalphia... 35g of philly, 2 very finely chopped spring onions and cherry tomatoes plus a sprinkle of mixed herbs. I must say, it was devine!

So no syns at all for me today, but that's because I am saving them for a pre-planned boozy night on Friday.

I have also set myself a Christmas target of losing another 15lbs. That will get me down to 12st 7lbs and will get me my 5.5 and 6 stone awards. I figure if I do that (and trust me, I aim to!) I have a fresh new year to lose my final 1.5st :-)

Shameful snacking!

So after posting last night I got pexkiah whilst watching tv. Havent done a food shop yet so I shamefully ate 2 scones and a meringue nest... 22.5 syns!! So today I was determined to have a syn free day to counteract my stupidity!

Breakfast this morning as 2 hifi light bars and a banana.

Lunch was roast beef with swede and boiled potatoes, followed by a Mullerlight yogurt and an orange.

Dinner was a syn free vegetarian spag bol with lots of superfree and pasta :-)

So today was a syn free day, and I refuse to snack on anything with syns after this post!

Exercise!

As many of you know, I am not a fan of exercise. But this evening I arranged to meet a fellow slimmer and my mumzie to do a walk around Coate Water, and not only did we lap it, we did it twice! Thats 3.6 miles :-)

Breakfast this morning was 2 wholemeal toast with marmite followed by a banana.

Lunch was half a packet of Ainsley Harriott Chilli Cous Cous (1.5 syns) an orange, mullerlight yogurt and lots of strawberries.

Dinner was 2 pork loins (fat removed) with minted peas (1/2 syn for mint sauce) and new potatoes followed by more strawberries.

So 2 syns all day and I'm feeling good. Now to continue low syn so I can enjoy a night out on Saturday :-)

Weigh in!

So been on plan over the past few days, had lots on, trying to sort out a new honeymoon and a new wedding car... hence why I haven't posted!

Today I weighed in and lost 4lbs :-) next week is my last weigh in with my group before my wedding day so I have set myself a target of 2lbs to get back where I was before last week's gain.

I have my head back in the right place now and only 1 night out which might get in my way but I know that if I'm good throughout the week I will get what I want! :-D

Dinner treat

So after the whole palava of yesterday I really needed today to go better to keep me on track. Luckily it wasn't quite as stressful but also not drama free. This meant not a syn free day, but still not ott!

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with frylight eggs followed by half a honeydew melon.

Lunch was a tin of Asda Lamb Tagine (1.5 syns) followed by an apple and a clementine.

Dinner (after rushing around with dress fittings, booking a new honeymoon and taking the cat to the vet) was Toby Carvery. I had gammon and beef, with lpts of superfree veg. I did have 2 roasties (3 syns) a yorkshire pud (3 syns) and spme gravy (calculating as 5 syns as I am not sure if they used meet juices, so I am counting them just incase)

So overall, 13.5 syns so not all bad. Another day of chaos tomorrow and things should then become more normal!

Bad day!

So yesterday was an emotional day! With my wedding day fast approaching tensions are high... as of lunchtime yesterday I was informed that our wedding car has fallen through and we have to find another... then a few hours later I get an email from our travel agent advising us that our honeymoon in Egypt has had to be changed from a personal chalet to a high rise hotel. In the end we cancelled the lot and now have to find another honeymoon at 3 weeks notice!

So considering all of this, and the fact that I am an emotional eater, I am rather proud to have got through my day with only 7 syns :-)

Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast with frylight eggs and mushrooms.

Lunch was half a packet of Ainsley Harriott Chilli Cous Cous (1.5 syns) half a honeydew melon and a clementine.

After all the running around with the travel agents I didn't get home until 7.30pm and didn't fancy cooking to I got myself a grilled chicken kebab with lots of salad and mint sauce and no pitta bread (5.5 syns)

So happy with my food choices and now just to make sure the bad news and hectic few days don't get on top of me!

Getting back into the swing of it...

So day 2 of being back on plan and I have to admit I have enjoyed every mouthful :-)

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmite followed by an apple.

Snacked on a hifi light bar mid morning (3 syns) along with a skinny latte for my HEA.

Lunch was left over superfree chilli pasta from last night and an orange.

Dinner was my usual Thursday night catch up with the bestie... we had Garlic Maggi So Juicy Chicken (2.75 per person) with 1 tsp of gravy granules sprinkled in to make it thicker (0.5 syn per person) accompanied with brocolli, cauliflour and herby diced potatoes.

So managed to get through the day with 6.25 syns :-) well on my way to a loss next week!

I'm back!

So after eating/drinking my weight in crap for almost a week I gained 6lbs at group last night. I deserved every ounce of that gain and now I have to work my bum off to get it back off in the next 2 weeks!

However, putting my gain aside, I am very proud to announce that I was voted Eldene Slimming World's Woman of the Year 2013. I am completely over the moon and can't wait to see what else tje future holds :-)

So back on plan this morning.

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk and chopped banana.

Lunch was half a packet of Ainsley Harriott Chilli Cous Cous (1.5 syns) a bag of sainsbury's cheese and chive popcorn (2.5 syns) a grapefruit and an apple.

Dinner was superfree chilli pasta (quorn mince, mushrooms, lots of mixed veg, chilli, kidney beans, chopped tomatoes and pasta shells) as syn free and absolutely delicious.

Snacks today have even been low syn :-) 1 syns worth of cottage cheese, ham, and a necturine.

Absolutely chuffed with how the day has gone and I am planning to continue it for the rest of the week!

Fail!

So this weekend has been a massive fail! Was doing well until Friday evening but then my fiance went off on his Stag weekend and so that I wasn't alone I have stayed with my friend.

Dinner Friday night was Pizza Hut because it's what her 6 year old son fancied... then we got home and washed it down with 2 bottles of wine!

Yesterday we did all-you-can-eat Chinese, didn't have bad choices but then anyother 2 bottles of wine didn't help... then we ate crisps!

This afternoon I am off to a family BBQ, I am going to take some low syn options but I don't know how on plan I will be!

As of tomorrow morning I am going syn free! I know I am gaining this week, and I'm fine with that. In fact, I'm looking forward to planning next week!

Double blogging

So yesterday was 100% on plan... Breakfast was 2 benefit light bars, banana and an apple.

Snacked on a doughnut (10 syns) and a jaffa cake (2.5 syns) late morning - it was a colleague's birthday and there was loads on offer so happy with stopping at that!

Lunch was half a packet of Ainsley Harriott's Aromatic Thai Cous Cous (1 syn) and 2 clementines.

Dinner was 2 chicken breasts and low fat chicken & herb supernoodles followed by melon and baby cucumbers.

So 13.5 syns for the day, still within my 15 syn allowance :-)

Today, not so good, but having a treat day... Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast and scrammbled eggs.

Lunch was an egg salad, with lots of superfree.

Had my bridal hair trial tonight and end up getting home late, didn't fancy cooking so had myself a big mac meal... first McDonald's for a long time, and I can already feel it congealing in my stomach! Won't do that again in a hurry!

So good day again tomorrow and I will be back on track for a maintain :-)

Shameful!

So along side being busy, I haven't exactly been a good planner for food. This has meant I have eaten out, had takeaways and overall been on plan around 60-70%.

This, I thought, was me returning to old habits and was going to result in a large gain on the scales. I go to group last night and I stayed the same! Exactly what I am supposed to be doing in the run up to my wedding.

Looking back, I have made some fantastic life choices... I always swap chips for jacket potato or new potatoes when I eat out, I have things without sauce, if I have a kebab I go for grilled chicken and no pitta... so actually I really don't need to be ashamed! So even if I treat myself (which I will do 2 days a week up to my wedding day) I will still post and not be upset with what I am writing!

So if you see me say I ate ice cream, or that I fancied a burger... who cares! I have 4 weeks of little treats until I am back on it hell for leather! And as long as I am good the rest of the week, I should still maintain :-)

Forgetful!

Completely forgot to post last night! It's going to be a busy 5 weeks so I apologise in advance for any belated posts!

I was back on plan yesterday and finished the day only having 1.5syns. It was hard, I craved things I shouldnt, but I persevered and feel much better for it today :-)

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with chopping banana and semi skimmed milk.

Lunch was 1.5syns of ainley harriot cous cous(the left over half a pack from thursday), a fat free yogurt, an apple and a clementine.

Dinner was a right concoction but it was blooming lovely! Chicken strips with courgettes, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and sweet peppers all frylighted off, mixed in a stock melt and some mexican spices... yummy!

So overall very happy with how the day went and hoping it weighs up the bad day I had on Thursday.

I am so excited today, it's 5 weeks until my big day and I am waltzing around in a soze 14 pair of jeans! I haven't worn jeans this small for 10 years! So very very happy, and I will remain low syn today with my head held high :-)

Confessions of a crappy slimmer...

So today has not been such a good slimming day! It started off well and then sort of went downhill...

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with Heinz Beanz Cheddar Cheese (1.5syns) followed by a banana.

Lunch was half a bag of Ainsley Harriot Lemon, Mint & Parsley cous cous (1.5syns) a fat free yogurt, a clementine and an apple.

Snacked on 2 of the office biscuits mid afternoon (6 syns)

Dinner was a low(ish) syn Chinese takeaway with the bestie. We shared Chicken in Blackbean sauce and Beef with mushrooms (5syns for both) and boiled rice. I did have a little crispy seaweed (5 syns) and for afters a Mr Kipling banoffee slice (7 syns)

So like I said, a bad day! Totalling 26 syns! But I know where I have gone wrong and at least I have admitted my mistakes. I know that if I now have some syn free days I can weigh it up, so that's what I am going to do!

Healthy extras...

I lost 1/2lb last night, exactly what I need to be doing now that I am maintaining my weight.

So now that I'm maintaining I get to have 2 of eat healthy extras now... and I'm loving it!!

Breakfast this morning was 2 weetabix with 50ml of semi skimmed milk/50ml water topped with chopped banana and a tbsp of golden syrup at 2.5syns.

Snacked on a bag of mini ryvitas mid morning (my extra HEB) the rest if my HEA of milk was used for coffees.

Lunch was chilli chicken supernoodles, a clementine, an apple and a fat free yogurt.

Dinner was a seafood sticks salad followed by blueberries and an 11g bag if sainsbury's popcorn at 2.5sys.

Overall, a fantastic day :-) right on plan and hoping to continue maintaining!

Late one...

So today I am posting for yesterday! So busy and lots going on, so apologies for
that.

Breakfast was wholemeal toast with eggs and a banana.

Snacked on a chewy delight special k bar mid morning (4.5 syns)

Lunch was chilli chicken low fat supernoodles, a pear, apple and a fat free yogurt.

Dinner was piri piri skewers with jacket potato, peppers and onion rings (overall 8 syns)

Got up this morning to buy the Swindon Advertiser... and I'm on page 7! Hence all the excitement and sneeking on Friday! I have added a pic but should you want a read pop to your nearest shop :-)

Nocturnal blogger...

I seem to be posting later in the evenings recently, and I apologise for that. Unfortunately I have been so busy with wedding prep the past few days that I haven't updated until just before bed!

Breakfast this morning was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with ham and eggs followed by a banana.

Lunch was lots of fruit and a fat free yogurt.

Dinner was chicken breasts with cous cous stuffed peppers... they were yummy! Followed by a Freddo (5 syns) and later on some Rainbow Drops (4.5 syns)

Still well within my syn allowance so hoping I am on my way for a maintain on the scales Tuesday :-)

Busy bee!

Today has been another good day with good decisions :-)

Breakfast was cous cous with yogurt and fresh strawberries.

Off to the cinema with my bestie and godson late morning, and whilst they tuck into pastries, lollipops and onion ring crisps (which are currently my biggest craving!) I sat and had 5 syns worth of popcorn and my healthy B of cereal bars!  Now that's dedication!

Lunch was leftover syn free chilli and a necturine.

Dinner was chicken breasts topped with lean bacon and my healthy A of light cheddar, served with asparagus, sugarsnap peas and SW chips.

Sat down after that to get into some wedding prep... 56 Order of Services are now printed, folded and intricately stapled! 6 weeks now until the big day (actually less than that now since it's past midnight!) So going to be rushing around like a headless chicken! Not only that, but I need to pack up as much of the flat as possible before the wedding as we're also moving the week after we get home from our honeymoon! Busy times ahead!

Grinning!

So today as been another good day on plan.

Breakfast was a cheese and ham toastie followed by fresh strawberries.

Snacked on a necturine mid morning.

Lunch was a jacket potato with beans and salad followed by an apple.

Got home to a secret meeting with some secret people... all will be revealed in the next few days... but all I will say is that it has left me with a massive smile on my face!

Dinner was a syn free chunky vegetable chilli with meat free mince, extra fresh chilli for an extra kick :-) pud was sliced watermelon and a curly wurly at 6 syns.

Catch up day

So after eating my naughty bits yesterday I have been 100% on plan today. Obviously trying to not gain or lose so will have to keep an eye on how I get on throughout the week!

Breakfast was a frylighted bacon and egg sandwich with wholemeal bread, followed by a frozen banana (they are lush! Just make sure you take the skim off first!)

Skinny latte for my healthy A.

Lunch was low fat sweet chilli supernoodles, fat free yogurt, a pear and a doughnut peach.

Got home from work and snacked on some ham.

Dinner was steak (fat removed), chestnut mushrooms, sugar snap peas, asparagus and a small jacket potato with 1 tsp of butter (1.5syns) followed by a bag of sainsbury's smoked paprika popcorn (2.5syns) they are definitely my new low syn snack! Yummy!

So overall only 4 syns today :-) and I have enjoyed my entire food day!

Maintaining...

So today I went for my wedding dress fitting... I get into my dress and it swamps me! Having around 2 dress sizes taken off... not bad considering I ordered it 2 sizes too small! The seamstress has told me to now take target until after the wedding so I called my SW consultant and called target where I am right now. Bit gutting that I am only 3lbs away from losing 5.5 stone, but I'll get there... I'm in no rush, right now my main importance is feeling like a princess when I walk down the aisle towards my prince charming :-)

It does mean that for the next 6 weeks I can allow myself little treats or extra healthy extras.

Today breakfast was 4 ryvita with 70g of light Philidalphia and smoked salmon followed by a necturine.

Lunch was homemade tomato and chilli cous cous with a can of lamb tagine (1.5syns)

Dinner was date night with the bestie... we went to frankie and benny's. I had dough balls and a pulled pork pasta bake. Then for pud we had ice cream in the cinema. So I know I went over my syns but I'm not worried about that.

I also had a lovely chat with a woman at a local company about my weight loss... but I'll give you more news on that in the near future :-)

Happy slimmer!

So this evening is weigh in... and I am pleased to announce that after my food and booze filled weekend, I only gained 0.5lbs!!! The fact I worked my bum off before and after obviously helped!

Breakfast this morning was 4 ryvita with 70g of light Philidalphia and chicken (random but it needed eating!)

Lunch was a chicken, tomato and herb omelette... yummy!

I am leaving group this evening and treating myself to a low syn chinese and this week I am on a mission to lose 3.5lbs to get my pre-wedding target!

Late post...

Had a late night last night and completely forgot to post.

Breakfast was 4 ryvita with 70g of light Philidalphia followed by an apple.

Lunch was a chicken salad.

Dinner was a gammon roast dinner with frylight roast potatoes, swede/carrot, brocolli, cauliflour and peas plus a splash of gravy :-)

Overall another good day on plan. Hoping it helps my weigh in be slightly kinder to me this evening!

Feeling the effects of a bad weekend!

So as I predicted, the weekend was very busy! And after 31 hours of eating and drinking I know that I am going to gain weight this week. However, I am not going to let that get me down! It was my hen weekend and I am not planning on ever having another.

So today, even though I have craved everything, I have drawn a line in the sand.

Breakfast was lean bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, scrammbled eggs and 2 slices of wholemeal toast.

Lunch was pasta with 40g low fat cheese, tuna and sweetcorn followed by fruit.

Dinner was tandoori seasoned pork loins (fat removed) and lots of cauliflour and brocolli followed by fat free yogurt.

So all day, I have wanted takeaway... not low syn either... but I haven't given in anf I've got through my day completely syn free. Now to keep going and hope it limits the damage on Tuesday evening!

Busy times!

Sorry for not posting for the past couple of days! It's my hen do this evening and tomorrow, and the preparations have taken up all of my time! I have been completely on plan, just haven't had time to post.

Wednesday
Breakfast was 4 ryvita with 70g of light Philidalphia followed by baby cucumbers.
Lunch was roast pork with boiled potatoes and cabbage.

Dinner was a much loved Toby Carvery,  gammon, beef and lots of veg. No gravy.

Thursday
Breakfast was 35g fruit'n'fibre and 100ml semi skimmed milk, followed by 2 apricots.

Skipped lunch :-( was way too busy running around!

Dinner was a mushroom and tomato omelette.

I am unlikely to post over the weekend, I will be way too drunk and it probably wouldn't make any sense! Haha.

The happiest day in my weight loss journey so far!!

So I am ending today with the biggest smile on my face!

Breakfast this morning was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with cheese and Worcester Sauce.

Lunch was a food day at work. I filled a lunch box with salad, cous cous and chickpea dhal for after weigh in. Had a little cous cous, a cheese straw and a oven baked vegetable samosa (thanks stu for not deep frying them!)

After work I go to the doctors, and after over 2 years of my body being completely irregular and just being told it was because my BMI was so high, the doctor actually offered to refer me for tests :-) This is a massive thing for me! Every time I have gone there in the past 2 years I have just been fobbed off because I was considered morbidly obese... not now! And I am so happy!

So from there I go off to weigh in... step on those scales to see 13st 3lbs... that's a whopping 6.5lbs loss this week, and only 3lbs away from my pre-wedding target!!

So I have had an amazing day, actually cannot describe how happy I am right now! Now just to stay syn free until Friday so that I don't do too much damage over my hen weekend!!

The night before D day...

So today has been another good day of my red week :-)

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with Marmite followed by a banana.

Lunch was a can of Asda Lamb Tagine (1.5 syns) and a grapefruit.

Dinner was a tomato, mushroom and cheese omelette.

So overall, another good day! Hoping all this effort pays off on the scales tomorrow!

Keeping busy

So today has been a busy day.

Breakfast was a cheese and tomato toastie followed by a banana.

Went into work for just under 4 hours, did a bit of driving around to collect some smaller clothes from a very kind and lovely woman.

Came home and had some seafood sticks, an Australian Cherry Ripe (like a mini cherry bounty! Guestimated 3 syns) and an apricot for lunch.

Then I spent hours doing lots of arts and crafts. 8 moustache t-shirts with added quirky bits... my hens are going to look amazing!!

Once I managed to scrub lots of glitter and spray paint off my hands I made roast gammon for dinner. I had mine with lots of carrots and brocolli, even made roast potatoes and peas but gave them all to my hubby to be :-) for pudding I had a grapefruit :-)

Still well on the way for a good loss this week!

Tiring day!

So this morning I was up at 4am, getting ready to drive the Heathrow to collect our best man from the airport. 2 strong cups of coffee when I get up to keep me going!

Came back and managed to eat at 9am. Too tired to cook, myself and hubby to be go off to Frankie and Benny's for poached eggs, beans (4 syns) and wholemeal bread.

Did some shopping then came home to sleep... ended up sleeping from 12.30pm to 7pm!!

Dinner was a mixed grill, no potatoes, 1/2 syn fried egg and lots of superfree salad :-)

Overall, another great day! Now I'm going to cuddle up on the sofa and watch some random films!

Extra easy!

So today has been another fantastic day of slimming!

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with 160ml semi skimmed milk, strawberries and sliced banana.

Snacked on an apple and apricot mid morning.

Lunch was a chicken breast salad (prepared at 6.30am!!!) And a fat free yogurt.

Office ice-creams late afternoon, I had a sainsbury's push up lolly at 3 syns :-)

Went to a get-together at my slimming world consultant's house, for all the lovely ladies who help out at group every week. She put on some really tasty sw food! Chickpea dhal loaf, ham salad, jacket spuds, 2 syn coronation chicken, 1/2 syn trifle and fruit salad. Needless to say, my 'red' day went out the window, but still completely on plan for extra easy :-) Considering how well I have done so far with my red days, I am not bothered at all about my one day of extra easy. Its the plan I have done for the past 10 months so I know it really won't make much difference, just meant I got to enjoy a bit of potato lol.

So back home now after a cracking night... AND I WON PARTY BOP-IT :-D and I am off to bed, early morning start to get my future brother-in-law from the airport at 6.25am!

HAPPY HAPPY!

So today is the first time I have ever posted from my laptop rather than my mobile. When logging in on a computer this site cleverly tells you your view numbers. I have never looked at these before and I am so happy with what I discovered! I have at least 10 people a day read my blog, and I have had 3,700 views since starting it in February! Thank you so much! I genuinely wasn't aware that many people viewed it, but it has definitely given me the determination to continue :-)

So breakfast this morning was a mushroom, tomato and cheese omelette.

Lunch was a ham salad sandwich (with wholemeal bread) a cherry fat free yogurt, apple and a hifi light (3 syns)

Dinner was steak with salad and garlic mushrooms.

So overall absolutely ecstatic with how my day has gone, and I am looking forward to continuing the week in the same mood :-)

I'm back :-)

So today has been a great day! I have planned all my meals for the week, been shopping to make sure I have all the ingredients, and I am looking forward to it! Planned a week of red days to see if it will give me a boost before my dress fitting on 31st.

Breakfast this morning was 35g fruit'n'fibre with 75ml semi-skimmed milk followed by an apple.

Lunch was a big salad, lots of superfree! Followed by a yogurt and a clementine.

Of to the shops I go, shopping list in hand, ready to continue with a good week.

Got home and had a SW grill up. 1 syn on my 2 weight watchers sausages, lean bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and beans :-) yummy! Only 1 syn all day, should really have some more, so I'm going to treat myself to a 3 syn bag of cheese curls :-) day one, done and dusted!

Guilty conscience

So after a poor excuse of a week I have been really rubbish at sticking to plan let alone blogging. I go to weigh in tonight and gain 2.5lbs.

It was completely deserved, and if I'm honest, I expected more.

So enough of my bad habits and feeling sorry for myself, back to plan!

I am going to get straight back on it tomorrow morning and I will updatr every day this week so you know how I'm getting on!

Stranded!

So Friday evening I headed off to Wales for the weekend. Managed to stay on plan right the way up till then. The cottage we we were staying in was literally in theiddle of nowhere. No phone signal, no internet and a 30 minute drive away from any shops.

Because of this it was really difficult to post or be on plan!

Breakfast yesterday and today was 50/50 toast (not the worst but also not on plan!)

Lunch yesterday was a 3 course meal at the wedding. Starter was smoked salmon, main was duck in gravy with veg and potatoes (not so bad!) Pud was a chocolate torte. It was delicious. So far, not so bad. Then the free wine, cider and more wine flowed... plan out of the window!

Lunch today was a Sunday Roast, again not too bad, and dinner was Asda Lamb Tagine and Ainsley Harriot Cous Cous (half portions so 2.5syns)

Overall not so bad today, but I am not expecting a gain this week. No-ones fault but my own! I will just have to work my bum off next week!

Challenging day!

So I completely forgot to post yesterday. My day consisted of:

Breakfast - 2 aldi benefit bars and a pink grapfruit.

Lunch - left over chicken and vegetable dhal followed by a fat free yogurt.

Dinner - garlic Maggi so juicy (2.5 syns) chicken, mexican savoury rice and salad.

Today was also a good day.

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with a chopped banana and semi skimmed milk.

Lunch was gammon, new potatoes and carrots.

Snacked on an apple and fruit ice lolly (3 syns) late morning.

After work I was collected by my big sis to get started on our journey to Wales for a wedding tomorrow. This journey meant stopping as services for dinner. Whilst my nephews and sister tucked into burgers and chips I had a grilled chicken salad. They then went to the shop to buy lots of sweets, I went to the cafe to get an apple and a banana :-)

So we're finally at the cottage after 5hrs and 23mins! May have to have a glass of wine after that epic trip!! But saying that, the bed is calling my name!

Buzzing!

So I'm buzzing about my award last night :-)

Breakfast this morning was a banana and a pink grapefruit (thanks to all the lovely slimmers for the fruit in my Slimmer of the Week basket!)

Lunch was Sweet Thai Curry low fat Supernoodles, a fat free peach yogurt and a pink lady apple... the first time I have ever enjoyed a red apple :-D

Dinner was syn free chicken and vegetable dhal followed by a fresh fruit salad.

So overall, a great day. Now just to continue it for the rest of the week :-)

Apologies!

No blog last night, I wasn't well and wanted an early night.

Yesterday's food... breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast and a doughnut peach.

Lunch was chicken and herb low fat supernoodles, a fat free yogurt and a pear.

Dinner was a 5 syn chicken and green peppers in blackbean sauce... yummy!

Today's food... breakfast was 2 aldi benefit bars and a pear.

Lunch was Asda Roasted Vegetable Cous Cous Break (1.5syns) a lemon and lime fat free yogurt and a clementine.

Get myself to group and initially lost 2lbs... 1/2lb away from my 5st... but after a tactial wee and I get myself another 1lb!!! 3lb loss meaning I got myself my 5 stone award!! 7lbs now to go before the end of the month!! Come on!!!!!

Trying new things!

Another hot and lovely day today.

Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast topped with ham and frylight eggs.

Lunch was a fat free yogurt, strawberries, a banana and something new... a donut...peach! It was sweet and lovely! (Pic attached)

Fancied something different for dinner so I made homemade garlic and chilli burgers with a melting cheese centre... they were delicious! (Another pic attached!) I had 2 of these with sweet potato chips and sugarsnap peas. Pud was 2 meringue nests at 5 syns.

So overall, another good day. Now trying to plan what to have tomorrow :-)

Tempting sun and treats...

So today I was up at 5.45am to go off to Castle Coombe for rally racing and the viewing of classic cars. Before I went I had a cheese toastie.

Walking round the site I snacked on grapes.

Come lunchtime everyone wanted burgers. I was pleased to see a van which told steak in a pitta with salad. Asked for this and was told they didn't bring pitta's or salad with them but I could have a white roll! Uh no! So after declining that, I was pleased to find a different van offering Jacket Potatoes and beans. Not ideal for such a hot day, but I would prefer that to a greasy burger!

Later everyone wanted ice cream... I had calippo shots at 1.5syns.

Dinner was pub meal with the bestie, I had a flour tortilla (9 syns) with rice, chicken, lettuce and jalapeños :-)

So overall good day again! Really hoping for a good loss this week!

Close call!

So today I decided to have an extra easy day, mainly because I got up late and didn't have time to make lunch so I grabbed something out of the cupboard on my way out!

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with ham and frylight eggs followed by an apricot.

Lunch was supposed to be an Uncle Ben's RiceTime. I had just heated it up, had a chat with one of the girls in the office about how tasty and low syn they are, when another colleague informs me someone had told her the syns had gone up. Not to be proven wrong I grab my phone and get searching on my app... sure enough they have gone from 1.5 syns to at least 9 (depending on flavour)!!! I couldn't bring myself to touch it after finding this out so it went straight in the bin! Instead I went to the canteen and got some roast pork, new potatoes and cabbage... so managed to have a syn free lunch.

Met a friend for dinner and we decided on pub food. I had a prawn salad topped with 2 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce (3 syns) perfect for the hot weather :-) went back to hers for a coffee and cuddles with her gorgeous 6 week old little boy then home to catch up on some tv whilst nibbling on a meringue nest (2.5 syns)

So overall a good day, could have been a disaster but that was averted! Phew!

Another day of red...

So I've decided to try and have 5 red days this week to see if it gives my weight loss a boost.

Breakfast this morning was a banana toasted sandwich followed by an apricot.

Lunch was a chicken salad with fat free dressing, a fat free yogurt and an apple.

Lunch was a meal out at the Harvester. I opted for a mixed grill, with no onion rings, black pudding or potato/rice. I filled my plate with lots of salad so the only thing I had to syn was my 0.5 syn fried egg. And instead of stuffing myself with ice cream or cake I came home and made myself a 5 syn eton mess, and it was absolutely delicious! :-)

Last minute planning

So today is day one of 'Mission lose 5lb!'

Breakfast was 2 scrammbled eggs followed by a banana and a necturine.

Late morning I had a small slice of cake as there was a 60th birthday girl in the office.

Lunch was a wholemeal ham salad sandwich followed by an apple, clementine and an apricot, washed down with a skinny latte :-)

Mid afternoon my boss decided to treat me to another costa coffee. I didn't have the heart to turn it down as he showed up in the office. So thinking on my feet I realised that I hadn't had any rice, pasta or potatoes so far, meaning I could convert my day to a red day without having to syn my 2nd skinny latte!

Got home from work and made roast chicken, I had mine with a mountain of veg, and I even have some left over for salad tomorrow :-)

Kick up the arse time!

So this week was a struggle, the weekend was really difficult for me to manage, but I managed to stay the same at weigh in this evening.

Breakfast today was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with sliced ham topped with 2 frylight eggs.

Lunch was a banana and an apple (nit enough I know, but I REALLY didn't want a gain!)

I'm going to go home from here and have the other rump steak from my packet yesterday (hopefully it will be melt in the mouth again!) this time with mushrooms, tomatoes and SW chips. I will treat myself to some american sweets afterwards as I haven't had any syns today.

I am going hell for leather this week, I want my 5 stone award!

Damage limitation

So today I have been right back on plan. Not a singlr syn throughout the day.

Breakfast was a cheese and tomato toastie (using my healthy extra A & B) followed by a banana.

Lunch was a smoked salmon salad (iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber, spring onion topped with smoked salmon) followed by an apple, clementine and an apricot... lots of superfree!

Dinner was a melt in the mouth medium-rare rump steak with a mountain of salad (mixed leaves, beetroot, cherry tomatoes and cucumber) with a fruit salad for pud.

Hoping to limit some of the damage I must have caused this week, only time will tell!

Struggling slimmer...

Sorry for not posting last night, was a late one and come bedtime I was shattered! Had a good day yesterday, only syns I had was half a twix so under syns for the day.

Today was syn free up until the evening.
Breakfast was 2 alpen light bars, 2 apricots and a banana.

Lunch was chicken salad.

Dinner was a meal out for my nephew's birthday, that was chinese buffet. It could have been worse, but could also have been better.

I'm really struggling at the moment, lots of things have happened at once and they're not finished yet :-( not expecting a loss this week, and it will be the first time in over 9 months I'll gain two weeks in a row. Feeling weak but I have to do this! No syns from now until weigh in, and hoping it will help. We shall see...

Naughty night...

Oh what a wonderful day!

Breakfast today was scrambled eggs, 2 plum tomatoes and a small amount of beans.

Lunch wss Jacket Potato, beans and salad.

Tonight was a night of naughtiness... lots of good food, butlers walking around in the buff serving us drinks! Lovely! I had a 3 course meal consisting of Brushetta with lots of tomato and onion. Chicken in a tomato and white wine sauce, carrots, courgettes and small potatoes. Pudding was very naughty indeed... banoffee pie! And it really was quite a large slice, but I didn't deprive myself of it... and I enjoyed every mouthful!

Back to very low syn tomorrow in the hope of having a nice loss on the scales next week!
