Painful antics!

Breakfast today was 100g cooked rhubarb (0.5 syn) topped with vanilla mullerlight and 30g special k granola.

Snacked on a banana mid morning.

Lunch was a Tomato & Herb cup'a'pasta, grapes, clementine and some salt &vinegar popcorn (2.5 syns)

After work I headed off to get more of my rib tattoo done... probably one of the most painful 90 minutes of my life so far! But it is looking good! One more sitting and I should be done :-)

Dinner was steak with hassleback tinned potatoes, mushrooms and courgette. Pud was a bag of flying saucers (3.5 syns) putting me on 6.5 syns for the day.

Feeling good about my week ahead and looking forward to those scales on Monday :-)

No rushing

So last night was my usual weigh in night, but I have to admit I felt so refreshed not to be running around at 9.30pm after group!

Breakfast was caramel cous cous pancakes with summer fruits and toffee yogurt.

Snacked on an alpen light (half heb) mid morning.

Lunch was a homemade veggie chilli with with lots of superfree chucked in followed by a pear and another alpen light (rest of heb)

Got home from work at 6.45 and headed off to do the food shop. Loved the fact that I was home by 9! Dinner was something different... quorn lamb style grillsteaks with grilled tinned potatoes, carrots and brocolli. Actually delicious!

After dinner I snacked on a bag of mini gingerbread men and 150g cooked rhubarb (6.25 syns in total)

So a very good day for me, and I tried some lovely new things. It's now time to head to work and my tattoo appointment at 4pm :-D

Weigh in

So as you know, I have changed my weigh in to a Monday evening at the moment.

Breakfast this morning was bran flakes, banana and semi skimmed milk.

No lunch but had plenty of coffee!

Got to group and was very pleased with a 1.5lb loss and slimmer of the month! :-D

After the crappy few days I really fancied a kfc, so I had it. Now I'm watching tv and snuggling on the sofa.

Minimal syns this week in the hope of a good loss before my birthday (15th May)

Working through some stuff...

Sorry for not posting last night, I have had a really difficult couple of days personally and I have needed some time to myself. My appetite has been very low and I am practically forcing myself to eat (which I suppose is better than my old habit of emotionally eating!)

Breakfast yesterday was caramel cous coua pancakes with summer fruits.

No lunch :-(

Dinner was a meal out with my friends in an attempt to cheer me up. We went to chiquitos and I had mexican chicken skewers on a bed of fajita vegetables and a side salad. I counted 5 syns for any oil that would have been used. After dinner we decided to drown my sorrows and listen to cheesy music... resulting in 37.5 syns of vodka! Still well within my weekly syns (putting me on 53.5 for the week so far)

No breakfast today.

Lunch was a roast dinner with all the trimmings at my bestie's dads house (unknown syns but definitely less than 40 so still within allowances)

Had some overnight oats and fruit early evening.

So I have been far from angelic, but things could have been a lot worse. I have still counted my syns and I know I am under my allowance for the week. Hopefully I will still have a loss tomorrow.

Working up a sweat!

So first thing this morning I got up and did the Tiffany Rothe 10 minute Booty Shaking Waist Workout.

After that breakfast was a mullerlight yogurt with 35g Special K Granola, a pear and a kiwi.

Lunch was a tin of Asda Lamb Tagine (1.5 syn) with added superfree (mushrooms,  brocolli & peppers) followed by an apple.

0.5 syn for milk in my coffee mid afternoon.

After work I headed to the gym with the bestie. An hour of exercise (cardio and weights) then off to the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi for some pampering sweat out time!

After the gym I came home and made a syn free prawn stir fry followed by a 1.5 syn mini milk and 2 cups of coffee using my HeA of Hazelnut milk.

So only 3.5 syns consumed today, and just 11 for my week so far :-) hoping to stay low syn whilst eating out with friends tomorrow. I'll keep you posted!

Grab and go!

So I got my days mixed up today and started my day with 10 minutes to get ready for work! Therefore breakfast and lunch were whatever I could grab from the cupboards and fridge.

Brekkie was 2 alpen light bars, a toffee mullerlight yogurt and a banana.

Snacked on a pear mid morning.

Lunch was a Chicken Cup'a'Pasta, a 10 calorie jelly (0.5 syn) an orange and an apple.

Dinner was Thursday night meal at the besties. Tonight we had pork steak with carrots & swede mash, brocolli, courgette and frylight roasties.

Now I am tucked up in bed snacking on a curly wurly (6 syns) to finish my day on 6.5 syns... 7.5 in total for the week so far.

Today I have decided that due to some personal issues I am going to be weighing in on a Monday for a little while. I will still post as usual, and I will still be going to a group. So this week I have only 6 days to get the best loss possible! Wish me luck!!

Two day post!

So yesterday was weigh day. I am pleased to announce a 0.5lb loss... getting me my 7 stone award!!! This also put me 7.5lbs from target but after a lot of thought and discussion I have decided to increase my weight loss target. It was a difficult decision to make, but ultimately I am not quite happy with where I am at the moment and I am now going to aim for 10st 7lbs meaning a total loss of 8st 0.5lb.

Got up at 6.30am today to do Tiffany Rothe's 10 minute Booty Shaking Waist Workout whilst coffee was brewing. I absolutely love it (even if it does make me ache like crazy!)

Breakfast was a mushroom and sweet pepper omelette with 40g reduced fat cheddar (HeA)

Lunch was a Tomato & Herb Cup'a'Pasta,  a cheesecake mullerlight (1 syn) an apple and a pear.

Off to the cinema with one of my besties straight from work so I smuggled in an egg and potato salad plus a big fruit platter.

Got home and realised I hadn't had a HeB today so snacked on 2 alpen light bars.

So ending today on 1 syn and feeling good. Hoping to make a dent in my new target next week!

Body magic!

Breakfast today waa overnight oats (HeB1) with a cherry yogurt, forest fruits and 2.5 syns of golden syrup.

Lunch was a mismash of foods... fish sticks, banana, cucumber, pickled onions, 3 babybel light (HeA1) and a 1 syn yogurt.

Today is a new week and I have 39 days until I jet off on a girly holiday... therefore regardless of the fact it is a bank holiday, I took a trip to the gym for the first time since before my hand op! I burnt 200 calories on the treadmill/cross trainer and then did some exercises on the iFit (vibrating pad)

After the gym I went to visit my sister and nephews at the park and had a twister ice lolly at 4.5 syns. My sister recommended a youtube 10 minute 'booty shaking' waist toning exercise so when I got home I gave it a go... and loved it!! So lots of body magic today!

Dinner was a chicken, cheese (HeA2) mushroom and onion omelette served witj brocolli and sweet peppers. And I have 2 alpen light bars for later (HeB2)

Will keep the rest of the day syn free meaning 8 syns in total today.

Hoping for a 2lb loss tomorrow but any loss will get my 7st award... fingers crossed!!

Easter doesn't have to mean being off plan!

Breakfast today was scrambled eggs (the only eggs I had today!) with lean bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes.

Lunch was Ryvita (HeB) with smoked salmon, cottage cheese, a banana and an apple.

Dinner was steak (fat removed) with roasted pickled onions (never cooked them before and they were lush!) mushrooms and courgette.

Used my HeA of milk for coffew throughout the day (I measured it out this morning)

Saved all my syns today so I could have treats whilst watching disney films in bed. 10 syns consumed on some jelly, mikados, popcorn and flying saucers. had my second HeB on a salted caramel hifi bar.

So even though it is Easter and there is chocolate in the cupboard, I am determined not to let it get in my way of a weight loss this week!

Robbed!

So yesterday was a busy day. It started with an early morning trip to kids cinema with my neices and one of my nephews. I went prepared... I took a banana, some grapes, 2 alpen light bars, a small bag of popcorn and some mikado... did I get a look in?! Did I hell!! I ended up having 1.5 syns, the fruit and half my HeB in an alpen light... the kids ate the rest!

Lunch was something I could grab quickly when I got home. An alpen light (since I was robbed of one earlier!) fishsticks, apple, cherry tomatoes, cheesecake yogurt (1 syn)

Dinner was a meal out with the hubby at the local carvery. Asked for veg with no butter, roasted meats and 1 syn for a ladle of gravy.

Realised at around 9pm I hadnt had a HeA so had 3 babybel lights followed by a mini milk ice cream (1.5 syns)

So a good day all round and finished on just 5 syns. So far so good resisting the Easter chocolate... luckily no eggs have been delivered as of yet!

Synning!

Breakfast today was overnight oats (HeB1) with raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.

Lunch was a creamy chilli & garlic chicken/vegetable medley (using my HeA for lightest philly)

Snacked on an alpen light mid afternoon (half HeB2)

Dinner was herby salmon on a bed of wilted spinach with carrots, asparagus and brocolli. It was absolutely devine! For pud I had a banana & custard mullerlight with chopped banana and a tbsp of calorie free caramel sauce.

Saved up my syns all day so that I could have treats this evening whilst reading in bed. I had a bag of smoked paprika popcorn (2.5 syns) 7 mikados (3.5 syns) 5 chewits (2.5 syns) a mini milk ice cream (1.5 syns) and an alpen light bar (other half of HeB2)

Now I am tucked up having a 1 syn hot choccie which finishes my day on 11 syns. Yes I am a synner, but I am counting them! And I am well within my limits :-) Be syn aware!!

Feeling good :-)

Breakfast today was ryvita (HeB) with lightest philly (HeA) and smoked salmon followed by a pear and a banana.

Snacked on a salted caramet hifi mid morning (6 syns)

Lunch was a very yummy salad with ham and cottage cheese followed by Aldi Cheese Curls (3 syns) and an apple.

Snacked on some sliced beef mid afternoon.

Dinner was chicken topped with syn free spices (bestie made it so can't remember what spices they were but i checked the sugar content!) served with new potatoes, asparagus, peppers and babycorn. For pud we had strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and kiwi with fat free yogurt.

So 9 syns consumed today and feeling full. 4 day weekend has started so it will take some extra effort to stay on plan but I am determined to do it :-)

Good things come to those who work hard!

Breakfast this morning was a salted caramel hifi (HeB1) with a yogurt and apple slices.

Lunch was quorn spag bol with lots of superfree and light babybel (HeA1) chucked in followed by a pear and a kiwi.

Got home from work and snacked on 2 syns worth of olives.

Dinner was chicken with carrots, brocolli and caulifour topped with 40g reduced fat cheddar (HeA2).

After dinner hubby and I went Easter Egg shopping and I decided to top up my syn bin. When we got home I got myself a selection of snacks (4 Daim Mikado - 2 syns, 3 Rich Tea biscuits - 6 syns, an Alpen light - HeB2 and some grapes) along with a Beanies Amaretto Almond coffee with a splash of milk (0.5 syn)

So got through today having 10.5 syns and I have eaten things most people would think are off limits! Everyday is treat day with Slimming World!

Also today was the day of our next Fertility Clinic appointment... I am very pleased to announce that I got on the scales and my BMI measured at 27.5... when I started this journey I had a BMI of 45.25 and was told IVF wouldn't be achievable because of my weight... today we have had confirmation that we are being referred for treatment!!! Hopefully news of a bitesize kitkat is on the cards in the future! Watch this space!

Breaking bad habits

Sorry for not posting last night peeps, I was knackered by the time I got home from group and just wanted my bed.

So, on Monday night it dawned on me that I am a weigh day synner... every week for the past 19 months I have completely discounted anything I consume on a Tuesday because it was 'treat day'. I dread to think how many syns i have had on these days! Due to a very important hospital appointment this morning i used this week as a way to finally break that cycle. Yesterday every syn that passed my lips was counted!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 slices of wholemeal toast topped with frylight eggs and 2 syns of ketchup.

Had a skinny latte with a sugarfree vanilla shot mid morning (HeA & 0.5syn)

Another coffee later in the day with a splash of milk put me on 3 syns for the day so far.

Got to weigh in and was very pleased with a 1.5lb loss... JUST missing my 7 stone award by 0.5lb! But no worries, I know it will be mine next week.

After weighing in I had a big superfree salad and a new Salted Caramel hifi bar (6 syns)

Came home from group and treated myself to 2 chocolates from my easter selection putting me on 15 syns for the day... and feeling very proud of myself! Not only did I leave the rest of the box of chocolates alone but I broke my biggest habit and ended the day within my syn limits :-D

The day before weigh in...

Breakfast this morning was overnight oats with strawberry yogurt and forest fruits.

Snacked on an apple and a mini lindt bunny (3 syns) mid morning.

Lunch was a Cup'a'Pasta with 2 clementines, a mullerlight and 2 jumbo fishsticks.

Snacked on a lemon cheesecake mullerlight (1 syn) an alpen light (3 syns) and a Groovy Bar (6 syns) when I got home from work.

Dinner was chicken stuffed with laughing cow cheese wrapped in bacon served with mixed veg and butternut squash.

13 syns down today, and I am really hoping for a loss on those scales tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!

Double blogging...

So as I said before I was having a BBQ last night, hence no post.

Breakfast yesterday was beans on wholemeal toast with added tomatoes then topped with cheese.

Skipped lunch as I was too busy getting everything ready for the BBQ.

Managed to get through the BBQ food with just 4.5 syns (an ordinary sausage plus 2 weight watchers ones) as I made my own burgers and made chicken too. I did drink some amaretto though and it wasn't measured so I have no idea of the syn value.

Breakfast today was just a black coffee in McDonald's whilst the hubny wolfed down 2 meals!

Lunch was whatever healthy option I could chose at Bristol Zoo,  luckily I managed to get a jacket potato with beans and salad.

When we got home I snacked on a cheese and tomato toastie plus some salad.

Dinner was a grilled chicken and lamb kebab with no pitta but lots of salad amd lemon juice (counting as 5.5 syns as thats what a doner would be and I don't know the amounts)

Also snacked on an Alpen light at 2.5 syns.

So even though I have had a lot going on I have made good choices. Really want thay next award!!

Fighting the urge to eat!

Breakfast this morning was cous cous with yogurt and forest fruits.

Snacked on an alpen light mid morning (half HeB)

Lunch was asda's lamb bhuna (1.5 syns) wkth added carrot and celery plus a clementine, an apple and another alpen light.

Got home from work and snacked on 2 pickled eggs.

Dinner was gammon steaks with poached eggs, carrots, brocolli,  SW chips and 2 syns for ketchup/mayo.

Since dinner I have snacked on 3.5 syns worth of Mikado, and a 3 syn bag of cheese curls.

Today has been a really stressful day, with home and work problems getting to me. I am a self confessed emotional eater (it's why I got so big in the first place) so I have been fighting the urge to binge all day! I have managed to get through my day having only had 9 syns so hopefully I am still on track for a good loss this week. I am having a bit of a bbq/get-together tomorrow but I am going to get some low syn/free foods for me to have and I am not sure if I am going to drink or not (right now I want to!) But if I do, I will stay low syn. If I dont post tomorrow it's because I'm drunk! But if thats the case I will post first thing Sunday!

Hungry day!

Breakfast this morning was cous cous with yogurt and banana.

Snacked on some grapes mid morning.

Lunch was a B Free wrap (HeB) filled with chicken, lettuce, tomato and 2 laughing cow light triangles (1/2 HeA) then 2 clementines and a massive pear! (No pic sorry, was so hungry I forgot to take one!)

Got home from work and snacked on a pickled egg, 5 mikados (2.5 syns) and another 2 laughing cow triangles (rest of HeA)

Dinner was meal at the besties. We had roast chicken (skin removed) with salad and new potatoes.

Had 3 cups of tea/coffee throughout the day so counting 1.5 syns for milk.

So 4 syns in total today and even though I have been feeling hungry I refuse to scoff my face when I have a potentially heavy weekend coming up! 8.5/105 syns consumed for the week so far! :-D

Resisting is proving to be easy!

Breakfast today was 35g Special K Granola topped with banana and yogurt.

Snacked on an apple and a pear mid morning.

At lunchtime the office became my worst nightmare... buffet food galore! But d'you know what? I didn't even look at it! Instead I sat at my desk with a Tomato & Herb cup'a'pasta, a small punnet of grapes and a diet pepsi. It was so much easier than I thought! Usually I would give in and have a few bits, guestimating the syns as nothing has been weighed, and feeling absolutely gutted about it all when I get home. Not anymore!

Dinner was a meal out with hubby at the Harvester. I had half a spitroast chicken with jacket potato and peas (no butter) plus a big bowl of salad. Counting a couple of syns for any oil but otherwise  syn free :-)

A few hours later I realised I hadn't had any HeA or any substantial syns so I had 3 babybel light, an alpen light (2.5 syns) and 4 mikados (2 syns)

So been a great day all round and have had a maximum (to be safe with the oil) of 6.5 syns :-) Aiming to be low syn all week as I am having a get-together at the weekend which may involve alcohol but overall I am very optimistic for the week ahead!

Weigh day

So today was weigh day.

Breakfast was overnight oats with banana and a drizzle of choc shot.

No lunch as it was my first day back at work and I didnt manage the time to have any.

Got to group and was really pleased with a 0.5lb loss :-) it's not a lot, but with such a huge loss last week I was worried I would potentially gain and 11lbs in 2 weeks is something to be proud of!

Aiming for a good week this week and really hoping to get that 7st award

Oooops!

So I've gone to post and its become apparent that I didnt post yesterday! Really sorry!

Breakfast yesterday was a SW grill up... 3 Tesco Light Choices sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes (3 syns)

Lunch was a B Free wrap filled with ham, salad and 0.5 syn of extra light mayo followed by a banana and 3 babybel light.

Had a Cinder Toffee coffee with 1 syn of light cream and 3 mikado (1.5 syns) mid afternoon.

Dinner was Gammon roast with lots of veg and 2 syns of gravy. Pud was a banana split with light cream, choc shot and an alpen light for 5.5 syns. Totalling 11.5 syns for the day.

Today breakfast was overnight oats with 2.5 syn of golden syrup and banana.

Had a coffee in town with a friend (after having a new tattoo started! Eek) using my HeA.

Lunch was leftover gammon, picked eggs, grapes and a massive pear.

Dinner was a sweet potato jacket, mushrooms, asparagus and a coffee with 0.5 syn of milk.

Snacked on some treats whilst reading at around 7pm. I had a bag of Metcalfes Skinny Topcorn (2.5 syns) 5 mikado (2.5 syns) and a Groovy Bar (6 syns) putting me on a total of 14 syns for the day.

So its weigh in tomorrow and I'm still feeling bloated. Not going to syke myself up about any results because after such a huge loss last week I really dont know what to expect. All I know is that I have been 100% on plan this week and I just hope that shows on those scales tomorrow.
