Feeling rough...

So all day on Monday I thought I was having a prolonged hangover... until I woke up yesterday with a horrendous cold! I'm bunged up, headachey and feel sick... not what I wanted 2 days before flying to Tenerife!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 wholemeal toast topped with mackerel in tomato sauce followed by some melon and pineapple.

Lunch was left over pasta with a mullerlight and a pink lady apple.

Snacked on some ham after work.

Dinner was a much needed meal out with daddy. We went to the harvester so lots of superfree salad followed by a mixed grill. I swapped the sausage for some flat mushrooms, chips for new potatoes but have to admit I ate my black pudding and 3 onion rings.

Not a bad day, but also not the syn free day I had planned.

Setting myself up for a gain on the scales tomorrow and to be fair, right now I don't mind... I will stay on plan today but I had a fabulous weekend catching up with old friends and now I'm ill. Whatever goes on will come off (after my holiday of course!)

Syn free

So today has been a completely syn free and snack free day.

Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast topped with tomatoes, mushrooms and reduced fat cheddar.

Lunch was a cup'a'pasta, grapefruit, pink lady apple and a mullerlight.

Dinner was pasta with chicken and lots of superfree (tomatoes, courgette, mushroom, carrot, garlic, passata)

So a good day today and I have plenty of leftover pasta for tomorrow. Planning on being syn free right up to weigh in now... we'll see how that pans out!

Synful slimmer

I apologise for being so quiet the past few days. I have been really busy and have drank my body weight in alcohol over the weekend!

I have been 100% on plan with meals, but Saturday was my 10 year school reunion which resulted in hours of shots and beer... that then continued into yesterday!

I'm going to weigh on a different day this week as today is the last day I can spend with hubby before I swan off on my girly holiday on Friday. I will weigh on Friday morning and will keep you updated on my meals etc before then :-)

Double blogging...

Sorry for the double post.

Breakfast yesterday was kiwi, strawberries and blueberries topped with mullerlight yogurt and granola.

Snacked on a banana mid morning.

Lunch was a ham salad, homemade syn free quiche and a pink lady apple.

Snacked on an orange mid afternoon.

Dinner was SW roast gammon with frylight roasties, carrots, brocolli and courgette.

Had some popcorn from my graze box later in the evening (6.5 syns)

Breakfast today was egg wraps filled with ham, mushroom and tomato with a side of strawberries and blueberries.

Snacked on a banana mid morning.

Lunch was leftover quiche, ryvita with light philidalphia, grapes and a mullerlight.

Ate a boiled sweet mid afternoon (1 syn)

Dinner was steak with lots of superfree salad followed by a mini milk (1.5 syn)

So had a really good couple of days and I am enjoying my meals again. Hoping to get a few more pounds off before my holibobs!

Experimenting...

Breakfast today was courgette, mushrooms and sardines on wholemeal toast (HeB1)

Snacked on some blueberries mid morning.

Lunch was 4 ryvita (HeB2) topped with light laughing cow triangles (HeA) with a mullerlight, banana, apple and pear.

Got home from work and snacked on a curly wurly (6 syns)

Dinner was herby pork loins with veg and pud was a bag of mini gingerbread men (5.5 syns)

So it was food taster on Monday night and I tried someone's syn free quiche. Her recipe was cheap and simple so I've decided to give it a go. Mine has butternut squash, courgette, leek and tomato in it and I'll be eating it for lunch tomorrow. Hopefully it has gone to plan!

Finally a result I like!

Started today with overnight oats in a banana and custard yogurt topped with fresh banana and 2 syns of choc shot.

Snacked on a Salted Caramel Hifi mid morning.

No lunch today.

Got to weigh in and I am very very happy with a 3.5lb loss!! I have felt really annoyed the past two weeks with my weigh day results and even though I ate naughty things this week, having syn free days before and after my birthday celebrations has obviously paid off!

No 2lbs away from my next award and I am really hoping to get that before my holiday next Friday. I am going to work hard this week and try my very best to get that off!!

The night before weigh in...

So after a couple of days having some treats and not knowing the syn values I have no idea what to expect on those scales. I am very pleased to say that I have had 4 syn free days and tomorrow will remain the same so hopefully the damage won't be too bad.

Breakfast today was a toffee mullerlight topped with granola (HeB1), a pear and kiwi.

Lunch was 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HeB2) topped with sardines in tomato sauce served with cucumber sticks, an apple and a clementine.

Snacked on some ham mid afternoon and had a beer in the sun (non alcoholic and 0 calorie!)

Dinner was chilli marinated pork medallions with mushrooms, courgette and asparagus plus my HeA of primula cheese. For pud I had a skinny cappuccino mullerlight and a banana.

So a very good day again today. Hopefully the scales will be kind to me tomorrow!

Catching up...

So the past few days have been busy ones! Thursday was my birthday and I spend the day thrill seeking at alton towers. Meals were on plan but I did have some shortbread and a krispy kreme donut.

Friday was syn free all day until my birthday meal out... I ate stilton and peppercorn mushrooms, lamb shoulder in a red wine sauce then chocolate orange torte. Syn values unknown but thought to be high!!

Yesterday was a syn free day. Breakfast was egg, bacon, courgette and mushrooms.

Skinny latte in town with mum was my HeA.

For lunch I ate a snack pack of grapes and some blueberries.

Dinner was BBQ at my friends house, I made syn free burgers, had rump steak and a chicken drumstick (skin removed) with lots of salad.

As I'd had no HeB I had a Salted Caramel Hifi bar... yummy!

Also had some proud moments yesterday... not only did I sit through my final part of my rib tattoo (it looks lush!) My mum persuaded me to try on some crop tops in new look... I was pleasantly surprised! It's weird that I look at myself in the mirror and know I have lost a lot of weight but I still but myself around 2 dress sizes bigger than I am therefore I'm dubious to try clothes that will show flesh! Not anymore, my crop top is amazing!!

Syn free..

So after my angry outburst after this weeks weigh in, I am determined to stick to the plan I have set out. I have gone back to the menu for my birthday meal and have adjusted my choices to allow for less syns and today I have completed my forst syn free red day of the week.

Breakfast was an omelette packed with mushrooms, courgette, tomatoes, ham and reduced fat cheddar (HeA)

Before work I took a trip to the local Tesco to get cakes for the office. Its tradition that cakes are brought in when its your birthday and i got them today as I wont be there on Thursday. I bought carrot cake, chocolate sponge and strawberry with whote chocolate... and not a crumb passed my lips today!!

Snacked on an alpen light bar mid morning (half HeB1)

Lunch was salad followed by a fruit platter and an alpen light (other half HeB1)

As I was working the late shift and needed to resist cake I snacked on an apple and a kiwi at around 5pm.

Dinner was 35g wholewheat pasta (HeB2) with passata, chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions, courgette, carrot, garlic, mushrooms tipped with two chicken fillets. For pudding I had a skinny cappuccino mullerlight.

Snacked on some ham before coming to bed.

So a syn free day and made some great choices. Hoping I will finally get a result on the scales soon!!

Angry slimmer!!

So it was weigh in last night... and after being an absolute angel all week I stayed the fricking same!!!

I am really angry about it but I refuse to ruin my week just because I'm annoyed. I did have a meal planned for an all you can eat buffet last night and I still went but I didn't do too bad, no worse than a usual weigh day treat.

Now I am planning on doing a syn free red week right up to Friday when I have a birthday meal planned (I'm even going to attempt a red friendly picnic for Alton Towers on Thursday!)

So hopefully I will get a result on those scales next week, if not I don't know what to do!!

Technical problems...

My past couple of posts are playing up. I have been posting, but for some reason they're getting stuck whilst uploading.

Breakfast yesterday was overnight oats with a toffee mullerlight topped with banana.

Lunch was a ham and egg salad (if you could call it that! It was from asda and consisted of lettuce, cucumber, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 slice of ham and 1 egg) followed by a snack size fruit salad.

Had some pineapple and melon mid afternoon.

Went to spend some time with my step mum and her son in the evening and I made them babybel burgers with sw chips and salad.

When I got home I had a bag of mini gingerbread men at 5.5 syns.

So still going strong and still completing that food diary religiously. Star week began yesterday so may explain the bloating etc but I REALLY want to lose 6lbs before my holiday! I am going to have to work hard!

Feeling good!

I am feeling really positive this week. My food diary is being completed for every bit of food that passes my lips, my fluids have increased dramatically and I am really hoping for a loss on those scales next week!

Breakfast today was leftover gammon omelette with mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes and reduced fat cheddar.

Snacked on an alpen light and a coconut/lime mullerlight mid morning.

Lunch was a Cup'a'Pasta, beetroot, strawberries, melon, a banana and a mullerlight yogurt.

Dinner was a Bannisters ready made jacket (1.5 syns) filled with veggie chilli with lots of superfree.

I have a mini milk (1.5) and some grapes on standby if I get peckish later.

Keeping low syn this week to see if it makes a difference on my results. Oh and brekkie and lunch are all prepped for tomorrow!!

Planning ahead!

So after my prep last night today was easy!

Got up this morning and popped a gammom joint in the slow cooker ready for dinner this evening.

Breakfast was overnight oats with defrosted forest fruits.

Snacked on a banana mid morning.

Lunch was lots of superfree salad topped with new potatoes and 2 chopped picked eggs followed by 3 syns of hazelnut rice pudding.

Got home from work at 6.50 and was feeling peckish so snacked on a bag of sainsburys cheese and chive popcorn (2.5 syns) whilst cooking the rest of my dinner (gammon was cooked to perfection due to this mornings prep!)

To complete my dinner I made sw chips and mushrooms in my air fryer... THE CHIPS WERE TO DIE FOR!  Served with steamed carrots, brocolli and a dip made out of my HeA of light philly, spring onions and mixed herbs.

So no faffing around today meaning some really good choices and only 5.5 syns.

Every meal for tomorrow is already prepped and in the fridge, coffee machine timer is set for 6am so I wake up to freshly brewed coffee and this new organisation is creeping into other aspects of my life too because my outfit for work is also laid out ready for me!!

Feeling good about this week already!

Weigh in

So after feeling like I hadn't lost anything all week the scales confirmed exactly that this evening! I stayed the same.

I'm ok with that though, I would have been more annoyed with a gain.

So my plans for the week ahead are to religiously complete a food diary (which I will hand into my SW consultant for the first time on my entire journey!) I will prep meals well in advance to save rushing and I am going to increase my fluid intake.

So breakfast and lunch are already in the fridge for tomorrow (I won't tell you what though otherwise I won't have anything to blog about haha!) and I already know what I will be eating for my dinner.

It's my birthday next week and I discovered yesterday that Tesco are selling the Breville Air Fryers at less than half price (£69 down from £149) so my wonderful hubby treated me to one today as an early birthday prezzie. I will definitely be giving that a go tomorrow (clue to one of my meals ��)

So here's to a good week peeps and getting closer to that all important target!!

Sunday antics...

Breakfast was a SW grill up... 2 Tesco Light Choices sausages with plum tomatoes, lean bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, and courgette (2.5 syns for sausages and splash of milk in eggs)

Lunch was 4 ryvita with 70g light philidalphia, smoked salmon, blueberries and a banana.

Spent the afternoon with my dad and his girlfriend, then they treated me to a carvery. Veg specially made for me (without any butter) plus lots of meat, 1 syn for gravy, 2.5 syn for roasties and 5.5 syns for a small yorkshire pudding.

Finished my day having used 11.5 syns. Usually wouldnt eat such a heavy meal the night before weigh in, but in all honesty I don't think I'm losing this week anyway (even though I've been really good!) so nevermind! Still under my syns anyway. We'll just have to see what those scales say this evening...

Crappy blogger!

So I have had a hectic few days and I qas fast asleep before I knew it last night!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 alpen lights, a banana and a mullerlight yogurt.

Hokiday clothes shopping in the afternoon so popped into a wetherspoons for lunch. I had piri piri chicken and pepper skewers with rice and salad (3 syns for the sauce)

Dinner was the BEST salad ever! Lots of superfree tipped with cottage cheese, boiled potatoes, crispy bacon (fat removed) boiled eggs and my HeA of reduced fat cheddar... delish!

Went to an adult birthday party in the evening and was proud of myself as the only things to pass my lips were a diet coke, a cherry tomato and 2 bits of red pepper.

Got home from the party and snacked on grapes whilst hubby tucked into chinese :-)

So a very good day indeed. Im hoping my hard work pays off with a loss this week because according to my scales (I know, I shouldn't get on them!!) I am staying the same. Only time will tell!

Double blogging...

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, had a really busy couple of days.

Breakfast yesterday was a fruit salad and a banana.

Lunch was a ham, cheese and salad sandwich with a grapefruit, apple, a mullerlight and some cheese curls (3 syns)

Snacked on some sliced beef mid afternoon.

Dinner was chicken tonight bbq chicken (2 syns) with lots of veg and savoury rice. Pud was 1 syn of jelly with lots of superfree and a cup of gingerbread tea.

After dinner I had a pamper sesh and dyed my hair... decided to have a change from my blonde and see if I can pull off natural beauty so brunette I went!

Breakfast today was overnight oats topped with strawberries, blueberries and banana plus a coffee with a splash of skimmed milk (0.5 syn)

Snacked on a pear and 2 malted milks (4 syns) mid morning.

Lunch was a big salad with ham and cottage cheese, an apple, clementine and a vanilla with cherry underlayer mullerlight (1.5 syns)

Dinner was creamy seafood pasta with lots of superfree chucked in and my HeA of light philidalphia.

So been a good couple of days. Started packing for my holiday too and I am looking forward to buying some new clothes tomorrow since most of mine don't fit!!
