So today started off really well...
Breakfast was 35g of bran flakes with a 75ml semi skimmed milk followed by fruit salad.
Lunch was fennel and leek soup followed by a grapefruit and 2 clementines.
This evening was weekly dinner with the bestie and we decided that the menu tonight would be BBQ bean lasagne with salad. So Heinz BBQ beans, chopped tomatoes, celery, peppers, onions and carrot all mixed together and reduced down layered between pasta sheets topped with quark and reduced fat cheddar... Delicious. The salad was a pre-packaged one from asda with lots of superfree and I grabbed an avocado to have on top as my new veg of the week. It was really yummy. I later discovered that avocado is actually not syn free but is infact 9.5 syns per 100g!!! So disappointed in myself for not checking, and just assuming that because it was veg (or fruit, not sure which!) that it would be syn free.
So my day which only had 3 syns in it soon went a lot higher. I dont know how many syns I consumed in avocado, as assuming it was syn free I didn't weigh it, but going on the fact I had half an avocado I am hoping to get away with syning it at 9.5.
Therefore I don't think I have gone over my syns for the day, but I will be making some cut backs for the rest of the week to allow for my meal out on Saturday!
