Struggling slimmer...

Sorry for not posting last night, was a late one and come bedtime I was shattered! Had a good day yesterday, only syns I had was half a twix so under syns for the day.

Today was syn free up until the evening.
Breakfast was 2 alpen light bars, 2 apricots and a banana.

Lunch was chicken salad.

Dinner was a meal out for my nephew's birthday, that was chinese buffet. It could have been worse, but could also have been better.

I'm really struggling at the moment, lots of things have happened at once and they're not finished yet :-( not expecting a loss this week, and it will be the first time in over 9 months I'll gain two weeks in a row. Feeling weak but I have to do this! No syns from now until weigh in, and hoping it will help. We shall see...

Naughty night...

Oh what a wonderful day!

Breakfast today was scrambled eggs, 2 plum tomatoes and a small amount of beans.

Lunch wss Jacket Potato, beans and salad.

Tonight was a night of naughtiness... lots of good food, butlers walking around in the buff serving us drinks! Lovely! I had a 3 course meal consisting of Brushetta with lots of tomato and onion. Chicken in a tomato and white wine sauce, carrots, courgettes and small potatoes. Pudding was very naughty indeed... banoffee pie! And it really was quite a large slice, but I didn't deprive myself of it... and I enjoyed every mouthful!

Back to very low syn tomorrow in the hope of having a nice loss on the scales next week!

Going strong!

So today was another good day :-)

For breakfast I had banana on toast followed by 2 apricots.

Lunch was a  syn free ham salad, a necturine, a pear and a fat free yogurt.

At work today, one of my colleagues was leaving and within her leaving gifts was a very large box of M&S chocolates. She was offering them round and since I knew the rest of my day would be syn free I treated myself to two! I'm counting them at 2 syn each as I don't know the syn value.

Dinner was my weekly dinner at the besties. She treated me to steak, diced potatoes and mixed vegetables. Massively proud of myself for not having a cornetto when her and my godson tucked in! :-)

So overall, been a good week so far! Not sure what tomorrow's events will bring but I will deal with it when the time comes!

Stuffed!

So today I am totally back on plan.

Breakfast was 2 wholemeal toast with marmite and a necturine.

Lunch was a Cantonese RiceTime, a fat free yogurt, an apple and an orange.

Got home and snacked on some ham and 2 apricots.

Dinner was my first attempt at Smash pizza. I used some bbq frylight in the sauce and to marinate the chicken, and added lots of tomato, onions and red pepper. Was absolutely delicious! Will definitely make that again! I'm also that stuffed that I couldn't finish it.

So all day I've had 1.5 syns, I'm saving them up for my SW hen do this weekend :-)

Back to basics!

So after a naughty weekend (and a not so perfect day yesterday!) I gained 1lb this week. I knew I was in for a gain and the fact it was only a small one shows how hard I must have worked before the weekend.

I am still 4st 11.5lbs lighter than I was in September so I will take that 1lb gain with pride!

Have felt a bit iffy today (probably due to all the fat I put in my body Sunday and Monday!) so really didn't eat much before group. Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmite. Lunch was an apple and a yogurt.

Got to group and it was a food taster, tried a delicious coronation chicken and some other bits and bobs.

Dinner was a chicken kebab, minus pitta but with lots of salad and mint sauce.

So this week I am going to be 100% on plan (barring my first hen do with the SW ladies) and I am going to try my damn hardest to get that 5 stone award next week!

Naughty blogger!

So no post yesterday, I was too busy drinking my body weight in Malibu red (Malibu with Tequila!) and jumping around like a child on a trampoline!

This weekend has been far from 'on plan' so I will be expecting a gain on those scales Tuesday night!

I was good all day yesterday with frylight eggy bread for breakfast and low syn chinese for dinner. But then the alcohol started flowing! I didn't nibble or eat anything naughty but a lot of alchol was consumed!

This morning, after waking up with a raging hangover, my friends decided they wanted McDonalds breakfast and since I was driving them home I had to take them to get it! I gave in to temptation...

Slept for the remainder of the day and then hubby to be was having kfc, and guess what... I gave in again! Will go back to being 100% on plan tomorrow and hope to do a bit of damage control. I have also decided that I will ban myself from alcohol until my hen do now! But saying that, it is only 5 weeks away!

Feeling deflated!

Feeling pretty crappy today. I've had a headache on and off for days with no explaination... then today out of nowhere, another visit from Mother Nature! So disappointed since the last visit was only just over a week ago :-( Really hoping I can stay on track and not hold lots of water this time!

Breakfast today was 2 aldi benefit bars, a banana and an orange.

Lunch was thai sweet chilli low fat supernoodles followed by a satsuma, a pear and a greek style coconut yogurt (0.5syn)

Get home from work and snack on an apple and some smoked salmon. Tried some Almond Milk at 0.5syn for 100ml.

Dinner was 2 chicken breasts with veg.

Not many syns today, but really haven't felt like having them. Hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow!

Straight back on it!

So, as I confessed this morning, last night had me off plan... but today I am straight back on it and gunning for that 2lb loss this week!

Breakfast was 2 weetabix with 200ml semi skimmed milk topped with chopped banana followed by an apricot.

Lunch was a Korma Uncle Ben's RiceTime, a necturine, an apple and a fat free yogurt.

Came home and had another necturine (whoever put them in the Slimmer of the Week basket was a godsend! Shame I've eaten them all now though lol)

Dinner was courtesy of the bestie... bird's eye bake to perfection salmon in lemon and herb sauce (syn free!!) boiled potatoes and mixed veg. It was absolutely delicious! Thanks 'Lish!

Now I'm back home, feeling good, and ready to sleep away some calories!

Admission post!

So last night was double date night with my hubby to be, the best man and his gorgeous girlfriend. By the time I got home I just wanted my bed, hence only just posting.

Breakfast was 2 aldi benefit bars,  a banana and 2 apricots (first time I've ever had a fresh apricot and it was bloomong lovely)

Lunch was fat free Chicken and Herb supernoodles followed by an apple, clementine and a Mullerlight Coconut Greek yogurt (0.5 syns)

Got home from work and snacked on a necturine... So doing really well! Then date night started!

Stop one - Frankie & Bennies... Starter was bbq chilli chicken wings. These even came out with celery sticks (I stole the best man's too as 'he doesn't eat rabbit food') so these wouldn't have been too bad, only syns would have been the bbq sauce, the chilli was just flakes. Main was BBQ pulled pork pasta. Again, only syns here would have been the sauce (there was quite a bit of it though!) I even checked if their pasta was fresh egg or dried... dried it was and I was a happy girly!

Stop two... cinema! So walked into the cinema 30 minutes before our film starts. Hubby to be won't stop talking about ben & jerry's ice cream... gets to 10 minutes before the film and I can't resist! 2 scoops of peanut butter cup ice cream later I am feeling the fat!

But I will be on it all week and I will get that 5st award!

Weigh in Tuesday...

So today was my weekly weigh in.

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with banana :-)

Lunch was half an Asda Roasted Vegetable Cous Cous Break (1 syn) with a fat free yogurt, an apple and a clementine.

Get to weigh in and I was very pleased to discover that I lost 4lbs :-D that puts me only 1.5lbs away from losing 5 stone!! So I have set myself a mini target of a 2lb loss next week. I was even Slimmer of the Week, meaning I have lots of fruit to get me through the next week :-)

Fancied a kebab on my way home so I got myself a grilled chicken kebab, and for the first time I actually ate my pitta. Lots of salad and lots of chillies! Well worth my 14.5 syns!

Struggling!

So guys and girls, today I am struggling!! Not wanting unhealthy foods, but just not wanting food full stop!

Breakfast was 35g of Philidalphia Light (3 syns) with tomato and ham in a wholemeal toastie followed by a banana and 500ml of Tesco Light Choices Apple Juice (1 syn)

Was working away and realised at 1.05pm that I hadn't had lunch (now this is wierd for me because come 11.30 any other day I would be counting down the minutes until 12 so I can eat!) Lunch was a Medium Curry RiceTime(1.5 syns), an apple, clementine and a yogurt (0.5 syn)

Get home from work at 6.30 and I'm really not feeling hungry. Start feeling a bit peckish at 8ish but nowhere near hungry enough to warrant a meal. Snacked on some ham and an apple.

It's now 11pm and I haven't had any dinner. Not hungry at all. Those of you who know me, know that I love my food so really not understanding my body today. Nevermind. Off to bed now, and hoping I don't have a raging appetite tomorrow! That would be my luck, inconsolable hunger on weigh in day! Fingers crossed!

Feeling crappy...

So today has been a bit of a crappy day. Emotional afternoon followed by a horrible migraine resulting in a 2 hour nap (which didn't help!) But still managed to stay 100% on plan.

Breakfast was a SW grill up, 2 weight watchers sausages (1 syn) lean bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, frylight eggs and 2 slices of wholemeal toast.

Lunch was a Chicken and Mushroom Pasta'n'Sauce made with just water which made it syn free :-) followed by a banana and an apple.

After my 2 hour nap, dinner was creamy tomato and chilli pasta (made creamy with 70g light Philidalphia) very yummy indeed... and another banana.

Now off to bed to try and sleep some more of this migraine off before work tomorrow! Night peeps!

Getting into wife mode!

So now it's less than 3 months until I get married, and today was some real practice for when the time comes! Been running around all evening doing shopping, getting wedding shoes and then did 3 hours of housework followed by some facebook clothes selling!! Did yet another clearout of clothes which are now too big for me. Most of my size 18s have now been advertised (barring some I just can't bear to part with yet as they still have labels, and what are belts for ey?? Haha)

Anyway! Breakfast this morning was cous cous pancakes, forest fruits and yogurt. I have now come to a realisation that I don't have to eat everything on my plate, and just because I am allowed big portions it doesn't mean I should have them! So I had half the portion I would usually have, 3 scotch size pancakes and I used a smaller pot to defrost my fruit in :-)

Lunch was meant to be a cheese toastie but I forgot to buy cheese! So instead I mixed up 40g of light Philidalphia with half a finely chopped pepper and half a green chilli and used that instead. I have to say, it was delicious! Will definitely have that again! I also had an apple, clementine and a Greek Style yogurt at 0.5 syn.

Snacked on a banana mid afternoon.

Dinner was 2 Salmon Fillets and a stuffed bell pepper. The stuffing was cous cous, cottage cheese, chopped green and red pepper and lots of paprika... yummy! I was getting full and because of my new mentality I even threw some of the cous cous and pepper away. As a friend of mine recently said 'whether it goes in the bin, or into your stomach, any food left over after you are full is waste. It either gets wasted in the bin, or you waste your efforts of losing weight if eaten'... I know what I prefer!

Late post...

So last night I went off to the GWH Staff Excellence Awards so didn't get round to posting.

Breakfast yesterday was 35g of blueberry wheats in watee and sprinkled with sweetener,  followed by an apple.

Snacked on a banana mid morning.

Lunch was Low Fat Chilli Chicken SuperNoodles,  a fat free cherry yogurt and a clementine.

Came home from work and spent almost 2 hours glamming myself up for the awards! Got to the venue and had so many compliments, was even told that with my floor lengh (size 14!!!) dress, curled hair and red lips that I looked like a sexy 1950's actress :-)

Meal were set 3 courses and I was pleasantly surprised that it was low syn options! Smoked chicken salad with a small drizzle of dressing for starter, pork with 2 roasties, veg and a drizzle of gravy for main, and a summer fruit pudding for dessert... delicious! Did treat myself to a small glass of red wine too, but my low syn weekly plan more than allows for last night.

Lots of dancing, messing around in a photbooth and a fantastic night all round, no guilt at all which is great :-D

Pampering night...

So today was another great day on plan :-)

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmite, followed by a banana.

Lunch was a Mexican Chilli RiceTime (1.5 syns) some pickled gherkins, a clementine and a Mullerlight Coconut Greek yogurt (0.5 syns)

Snacked on 2 necturines and an apple throughout the afternoon.

Dinner was a chunky turkey and veg stir fry. Lots of mangetout, baby corn, long stem brocolli and chilli :-) added a tbsp of sweet chilli sauce for some extra flavour, well worth 1.5 syns!

Now just pampering myself with painted nails after a nice long bath, getting all ready for my size 14 dress I'm wearing tomorrow!

Planning

So today is day one of my first ever pre-planned week.

Breakfast was cous cous with yogurt and forest fruits.

Lunch was a tuna mayo salad wholemeal sandwich (1 syn for the mayo) with an apple, clementine and a fat free yogurt.

Snacked on celery sticks later in the afternoon. Went to the future in laws and I had an individually wrapped Crispello... was delicious and well worth the 3 syns :-) I had planned for a hifi light so just didn't have that.

Dinner was chicken stuffed with light Philidalphia wrapped in lean bacon with mixed veg and steamed potatoes.

So overall a very good day :-) if I keep this going I should have a lovely loss this week!

Weigh in night...

So after my bread roll and my visit from mother nature yesterday I am pleased to say that I lost 0.5lb. I would have liked more but after yesterday and even though I ate healthily last week I did eat the healthy bits even though I wasn't overly hungry. I won't do it again this week!

Breakfast this morning was a wholemeal bacon and egg sandwich.

Lunch was a small pot of savoury rice, an apple and a fat free yogurt.

Now I'm at group, trying to come up with something to eat when I get home. Something on plan, and I will lose again next week :-)

Goddamn mother nature!!

So today, after being so good, mother nature decides to pay a visit! So angry right now!

Breakfast was a reduced fat cheese and tomato toastie followed by an apple.

Snacked on a clementine mid morning.

Lunch was a Spicy Tikka Masala RiceTime (1.5 syns) a mullerlight coconut greek yogurt (0.5 syn) and an apple.

Came home from work, I'm making chicken with some sweet potato and veg. Hubs-to-be has a massive bag of soft white rolls on the side... they were literally calling my name... telling me I wanted them... and me being a douche grabbed one and chowed down!! Such a stupid thing to do, didn't even cover it in butter, just wanted the bread! Still working out to be under my syns for the day so I should be alright, but made me so angry at myself! Fell down at the final hurdle, but all I can do is pick myself up, dust myself off and carry on... and that is exactly what I intend to do!

Enjoying the weather

So today I woke up later than I planned so rushed breakfast. Had a Mullerlight Coconut Greek Style yogurt followed by a pear and an apple.

Lunch was 4 ryvita with smoked salmon, extra light philly,  cucumber and cherry tomatoes.

Went to my dad's for a BBQ this afternoon. Took my own sausages (tesco light choices) ate 4 at 2 syns, lots of salad, some skinless chicken and a pork chop (fat removed) lounged around in the sun for hours and I am very happy that I didn't eat all the high syn options.

Now home eating a meringue mest whilst watching Come Dine With Me and not even missing all the fatty food they're eating! Lol

Happy moment!

So today is a happy day!

Breakfast was a SW grill up... 2 weight watchers sausages (1 syn) with mushrooms, tomatoes, lean bacon and frylight eggs.

Was out and about all day with overtime and visiting the future-in-laws so didn't eat again until around 5pm. Out shopping so h2b and I decided on a Toby Carvery. Lots of veg, meat and boiled potatoes.

Went off to Asda afterwards and was wandering around looking for a dress for a posh do I am going to next weekend. Came across a lovely floor length dress, tried it on and I managed to get a size 14!!! Very proud moment for me :-)

Now watching Hangover Part 3 whilst h2b eats Ben&Jerry's and I had 2 alpen lights :-)

Oh dear!

So I was reminded today that I haven't updated for a couple of days... I have just been so busy! Sorry guys!

I won't go into the past two days of eating. All I will say is that Wednesday I went over my syns, not by much but Dad took me out to cosmo and I chose low syn options so not too disappointed in myself.

Yesterday was only 5.5 syns all day.

Today I had cous cous with yogurt and mixed berries for breakfast.

Lunch was a Sweet Thai Chilli RiceTime at 1.5syns followed by an apple and a pear.

Snacked on 2 hifi light bars, one in the morning and one this afternoon.

Dinner is cooking now... thought I would have something new. Chicken with 2 small bell peppers stuffed with 1/2 a packet of savoury rice, added green beans, butternut squash and a chopped green pepper, topped with reduced fat cheddar :-) Hoping it turns out to be yummy because I am excited lol. Pudding will be a meringue nest at 2.5 syns.

Weekly weigh in...

So tonight was weigh in again. Dreaded it due to my drunken night out on Saturday.

Breakfast was a wholemeal roll with bacon and a sliced light babybel.

Lunch was a food day at work. Salad, chickpea dhal. Did have 2 breadsticks and a small slice of fat free cake (unsure of syns)

Weighed in tonight and lost 2.5lbs :-) got my 4.5st and also now weigh in at 13st 13.5lbs!! Under 14 stone for the first time in I don't know how long!!

Came home, didn't fancy anything hot so had some seafood sticks, 2 more light babybel and tomatoes.

Now on my way for another 2lb loss next week!

Regretting the weekends antics :-(

So I had a lovely weekend catching up with my best friends, couldn't resist temptation and drank lots of alcohol... stuck with spirits apart from 1 drink but I can feel my body holding onto it! Feeling really bloated, but if I gain tomorrow I know I'll lose it and some more next week!

Breakfast this morning was a wholemeal roll with left over gammon and a frylight egg followed by an apple.

Lunch was lots of salad with a chopped chilli to give it a bit of a kick... think I must have chosen the hottest one in the packet... I was dying! My mouth was burning, my nose was running and my eyes were watering! On a plus note, did make me drink plenty of fluids haha!

Snacked on a hifi light bar mid afternoon for 3 syns.

Dinner was salmon, steamed potatos and green beans. Now I'm letting that settle and if I fancy something sweet later I'll have a 2.5 syn meringue nest with some fruit :-)

Double post!

So there was no post yesterday, I was busy all night dancing away :-)

Breakfast yesterday was a sausage (1 syn), mushroom and tomato omelette.

Lunch was 2 quorn burgers (1 syn) with lettuce, tomato and 1 syn of light mayo followed by a pear.

Dinner was steak with sweet potato, mushrooms and tomatoes.

Went out in town last night, drank spirits and was very pleased to discover 2 of my favourite pubs now stock sugerfree redbull so I can still have jager and vodka with my perfect mixer :-) lots of dancing so lots of body magic!

Today I had a bacon, mushroom and egg wholemeal roll for breakie.

Snacked on seafood sticks and a meringue nest (2.5 syns) throughout the afternoon.

Dinner was a SW gammon roast with dry roasties, sugersnap peas (first time I've tried them and I was very much impressed!) butternut squash and cabbage. Yummy :-)
