Weigh in...

So weigh in was last night...

I had worked my backside off all week and really wanted results knowing that I have a busy few weeks ahead of me...

I am pleased to announce a 6.5lb loss!

I am now only 1.5lb above target and happily floating in my bubble :-)

Minimal syns for this week so that I can enjoy two Christmas do's this weekend (eek!)

Pre-weigh post...

So yesterday was a very busy and eventful day.

Breakfast was 70g porridge (2x HeB) with 250ml semi skimmed milk (HeA) topped with apple and pear. After brekkie I headed straight off to a bridal studio to have some pics taken in some of their gorgeous gowns :-)

Quick trip home for lunch and I had pan 'fried' sausage, pepper and tomatoes topped with 40g reduced fat cheddar (HeA2 & 2 syns) Shot straight off to meet some fellow SW target members from nearby towns for coffee, was a great experience and was brilliant to meet others who have succeeded in getting their ultimate weight loss goal :-)

Straight from there a trip to see my sister was in order (more black coffee!) And my nephew sweet talked me into a lift 20 minutes in the opposite direction of my house... good job I love him! Was shattered after all this so opted for a grilled chicken kebab with lemon juice and lots of salad (7.5 syns for pitta)

Finished my day painting my nails and sipping a hot choccie (1.5 syns)

So 12 syns in total and overall I'm feeling confident for a loss on the sea this evening... time will tell :-)

Next morning posting...

Sorry for posting late again, but I was shattered last night! I was due to go out for cocktails and dancing but I decided to stay in to protect my weight loss... Instead I played with my new TV, listened to Christmas songs and put more decs on the tree :-)

Breakfast yesterday was a bit SW grill up with 2 syns for Heck's Chicken Italia Sausages (0.5 syns each, and God their good!) and 2 syns for butter in my scrambled eggs (I actually measured it, so not worth 2 syns so I'll leave it out in future!)

Lunch was ryvita, light philadephia, ham and grapes.

Dinner was chicken topped with tomato puree & cheese served with butternut squash mash, cauliflower and broccoli. BUTTERNUT SQUASH IS THE WAY FORWARD! It is a superfree food and a great alternative for potato.

Snacked on 5 syns of flying saucers in bed with a cup of salted caramel hot chocolate (1.5 syn and to die for by the way!)

So finished my day on 11.5 syns and loved every mouthful :-)

Not missing out...

Breakfast today was all bran with banana and semi skimmed milk followed by my 1 syn advent calendar choccie.

Snacked on some grapes mid morning.

Lunch was a quorn bolognaise with a pear and 2 satsumas.

Snacked on some ham when I got home from work.

Dinner was steak with mushrooms, asparagus and butternut squash chips.

After a difficult week; tonight I have drank and entire bottle of wine... but it's ok, it was a new discovery... Non Alcoholic Cabernet Sauvingion from Tesco! It was delicious and only 7.5 syns for the bottle! Enjoyed my favourite Red with less syns and with no hangover tomorrow! Impressed is an understatement!

Just finished my day off with 2 light Benefit Bars (HeB2)

So a whole bottle of wine and some really tasty food for only 8.5 syns, happy me!

Late post

Sorry for posting late, I had a really busy evening yesterday.

Breakfast was 35g Blueberry wheats followed by a big pot of melon and mango plus my advent calendar choccie (1 syn)

Snacked on a small banana mid morning then a patient kindly passed on a box of my favourite choccies  (White Ferrero Rocher) so to stop me eating them all I passed them round the office, managing to only have 2 for myself (6 syns) Proud moment right there!

Lunch was a cheese and ham salad followed by an apple and 2 satsumas.

Snacked on some ham when I got home, before running out of the door again. Then head off to see my dad so I could do a family members nails and for dad and hubby to order my big Xmas pressie... PRIVATE PLATES FOR MY CAR!! Eek!

We left dad's quite late so opted for a meal at the harvester. I had a chicken, salsa and pepper stack with a side salad, muchrooms and some veg (counting 3 syns for any oil they may have used) I did have a small wholemeal roll (HeB2) with 2 syns of butter.

So finished my day on 12 syns but still 100% on plan :-)

Planning ahead

So planning ahead is proving to be key for me...

Breakfast today was porridge (made with water) topped with defrosted berries and sweetener followed by a 1 syn advent calendar choccie.

Snacked on a small banana mid morning.

Lunch was butternut squash soup followed by another small banana and an apple.

Cadbury's Roses went round the office mid afternoon, I had a hazelnut swirl (2 syns) and a Hazelnut in Caramel (3.5 syns) washed down with a skinny latte (HeA)

Came home from work and snacked on 2 light Benefit Bars (HeB2) whilst making an egg, ham and cheese salad plus chopped mango and melon for my cinema trip (not sure the other film watchers appreciated my egg stench but who cares?! Haha)

So 6.5 syns and another successful original day. Lunch for tomorrow all prepped and in the fridge... actually looking forward to those scales on Monday!

Facing the scales...

So after eating off plan for 4 days whilst in Newcastle I decided to take a buffer week... dumb move! This past week has proven to me that I need group when I know I'm going to have a gain... I know that if I have been really good then I can afford to not go, if I have been off plan I need to face the scales sooner rather than later! My buffer week turned into a 'one bad meal won't hurt' week! I ate one meal off plan at least 4 out of 7 days and whatever gain I had in newcastle didn't reduce, resulting in a 9lb gain on the scales last night. Don't get me wrong, I haven't been massively off plan the past week but knowing I was gaining should have been a kick up the bum!

Just proof that even people who have lost a lot of weight, and even target members, have their struggles. I do seem to gain weight very quickly though, but I am on a mission to get it off quickly too!

Before group last night I did my meal plan for the next week and today I have been 100% on plan :-)

Breakfast was a cheese and ham toastie with grapes and a pear followed by a 1 syn advent calendar chocolate. Also got some earrings from hubby in my non-chocolate based calendar!

Lunch was roasted butternut squash soup with ryvita, a fat free yogurt and 2 satsumas.

Snacked on fruit mid afternoon.

Dinner was a 3 syn sweet chilli salmon stir fry followed by a milky coffee.

So 4 syns today and followed original plan. Onwards and upwards from here :-)
