Hungover eating...

So last night was a messy one with lots of syns, luckily I saved plenty up.

Today has been a struggle due to the Easter chocolates the other half bought me.

Didn't get out of bed until early afternoon so had a SW Full English for breakfast. 3 Tesco Light Choices Cumberland sausages (1.5 syns for all 3) lean bacon, mushrooms, beans, scrammbled eggs, tomatoes and wholemeal toast.

Dinner was Chicken breasts with boiled new potatoes and mixed vegetables (cauliflour, carrots, brocolli)

Snacked on 8 Thorntons Praline Melts (the Easter chocs) couldn't find the syns online so guestimated 1.5 each based on similar things on there. Wasn't until I ate them that I thought of calculating from the nutritional info... 3 syns each!! So my 8 chocolates are 24 syns... SO NOT WORTH IT!!! Luckily I still have plenty of weekly syns to allow for them but I think the rest of the box will be sat in the cupboard for a very long time!!

A fragile slimmer...

Sorry there was no post last night, I was way too intoxicated to be updating! Haha!

Ate really well during the day, for breakfast I had cous cous pancakes with strawberries.

Off to the hairdressers at lunchtime so ended up skipping lunch.

Dinner was a light one, really wasn't hungry. I had cheese and ham on toast with 2 boiled eggs.

Went off to a friends and then a night on the town... tequila,  vodka and amaretto all night long! Kept track of every syn which passed my lips! 56 syns down in one night, but due to doing weekly syns I still have 36.5 to play with for the next few days :-)

Now I'm heading to the kitchen for a SW Full English!!!

Cinema trips and parties...

So today was full of things which could have made me go off plan, but I didn't :-)

Breakfast was a ham, mushroom and cheese omelette followed by an apple and a blueberry yogurt.

Off to the cinema to watch The Host (which was amazing by the way) so took some slices of turkey, a fat free strawberry yogurt and 2 hifi light bars. Only thing I gave into from the snack bar was a large Diet Coke!

Dinner was a rushed one before heading off to an Ann Summers party so the bestie and I stopped off for Grilled Chicken Kebab (5.5 syns) I had lots of salad, mint sauce and no pitta :-)

At the party there were drinks flowing, haribo being passed around and crisps being dipped... but I didn't give in. I settled for a diet lemonade and lots of laughter!!

Now home and feeling peckish so I'll have a pear and a decaf black coffee... And I still have 89.5 syns to go into tomorrow :-D

This annual leave dieting is easy!

So still on annual leave and I have to admit, genuinely thought staying on plan was going to be difficult,  but it has been really easy so far :-)

Had a lay-in today so ended up skipping breakfast. Went into town, bought the other half's Easter Eggs (Reece's Peanut Butter ones) and I wasn't even tempted by the delicious American candy around me!

Came home and decided that for lunch I would have my breakfasty type food so had a SW fry up :-) frylight eggs, Tesco Reduced Fat Cumberland sausages (1/2 syn each) lean bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and 2 slices of wholemeal toast! Definitely made up for the missed meal haha!

Snacked on grapes and a pear late afternoon.

Dinner was Mixed Herb Maggi So Juicy Chicken (between two people so equalled 2.5 syns each) with chinese savoury rice and mixed veg. Very yummy indeed :-)

Still have 95 syns for the week so I am in for a good weekend!!!

Another day of good decisions...

So I am all hyped up after my loss last night.

For breakfast I had a cheese and tomato toastie with 1/2 a syn worth of ketchup followed by a plum.

Snacked on a yogurt and an apple mid-morning.

Lunch was jacket potato with tuna mixed with spring onions, half a medium chilli (which was spicy as hell!) and 1 syn worth of extra light mayo. Then a clementine.

Dinner was date night with the other half. I only let him take me to two places, Toby Carvery or Harvester. Tonight we chose Toby. I had a small size of each of the meats (turkey, beef, pork and gammon) with parsnips, carrots, cabbage, peas, cauliflour and a small spoon of mash. No idea on the butter amount used so guestimating 5 syns. Doing weekly syns this week, due to an alcohol filled Saturday, so I have 98.5 left so far.

Hope you're enjoying having a read of my blog, should you ever want any recipes or dieting tips by all means leave a comment :-)

Bye for now xx

Happy happy bunny!

So another day looking after lots of kids, and temptation was there again, but I didn't give in :-D

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with ham and 2 frylighted eggs.

Lunch was McDonalds. The 4 kids I was looking after had Happy Meals or Chicken Legends. Guess what I had... a Grilled Chicken Salad!!

Come to group this evening and I am sooooo over the moon! A 4 pound loss this week!!

Because I've had no syns so far today I am leaving here tonight and walking into the chinese across the way for beef and mushrooms and boiled rice at 4.5 syns :-)

Not as difficult as I thought...

So today was the first day of my annual leave and looking after lots of kids. I had it in my mind that it was going to be really difficult but actually, it was quite easy!

Lots of body magic running around soft play and over 30 minutes on Just Dance on the Wii.

Breakfast this morning was cous cous with a mango 0% fat yogurt and strawberries.

Lunch was a wholemeal ham sandwich (no spread) an activa banoffee snackpot (1 syn) and a satsuma.

Dinner tonight was Hoisin Chicken from the new Slimming World Taste of Asia book, with noodles and stir fry veg.

Later I will treat myself to some strawberries, a yogurt and maybe even a 2 syn hot chocolate :-)

Hoping the scales will show off my hard work tomorrow evening...

Sunday, 24 March 2013

Such a good week :-)

So after last night's dedication I was determined to continue on that path today :-)

Breakfast was poached eggs on wholemeal toast followed by a plum and a clementine.

Lunch was chinese chicken noodles. Frylighted some fresh chilli, ginger, spring onions, mushrooms and chicken. Then mixed 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce into some noodles. Served the chicken on a bed of noodle, and it was blooming lovely!

Dinner was a homemade chicken and prawn paella, couldn't find the syn value for the seasoning anywhere so myself and a fellow SW member guestimated it was about 4 syns. Halved it with my fiance so ended up being around 2 syns :-)

Just snacked on fresh pineapple and melon.

Tomorrow will be a challenge, I'm looking after 3 kids aged 7 and under... WISH ME LUCK!!

A day of temptation...

Today has been a difficult day, but I have overcome all the challenges and I am so proud of myself for doing so :-)

Breakfast was cous cous pancakes with strawberries and melon. (Pic attatched)

Went to town with the other half early afternoon, he got hungry so had a sausage baguette from the Street Cafe, I could have had anything I wanted but I powered through and opted to wait until I got home! Got home and had a cheese, ham and tomato toastie with 1 syns worth of ketchup.

Went bowling with my dad, his girlfriend and family friends. The bowling was pre-booked and food was paid for as part of the package. I was shocked at the choices given! 4 types of burger with chips. I was so disappointed to find that TenPin do not have a single thing on their menu which isn't dripping in fat or fried!! We even asked the manager if there was anything he could do and was told I was the minority and it's my choice if I choose not to eat from their menu! Instead of giving in I declined food altogether. But on the plus side, lots of body magic bowling, competing on the dance mat and kicking butt at air hockey!

Now on my way home and opting for a chicken kebab with salad and no pitta. After the dedication I have shown today I think I deserve a kebab at 5.5 syns!! :-D

Some good choices...

So today was a long day at work, up early so didn't have time to grab much in terms of food for the day.

Went to the canteen at 7.15am to get some wholemeal toast (I even took my jar of marmite in my handbag!!) but they only had white :-( Then looked around what to have and after hardly anything healthy I decided on cereal. I bought a mini box of Special K. Rather than just eating it, I logged onto Slimming World online to check if I could have it as my Healthy B... Unfortunately not! Refused to start the day on a bad note so I walked back to the other side of the large building and asked to swap the box for Fruit n Fibre, and they let me :-)

Lunch was fruit, a fat free yogurt and a cous cous pot from asda.

Came home and after my breakfast palava I decided on brinner (breakfast for dinner!) and it was lush!! Tesco low fat cumberland sausages, bacon, poached eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans.

I'm also making an effort to have more fluids this week, at least 6 cups a day so far :-)

Now going for a lovely hot bath and then I'll snuggle up in bed with a decaf black coffee, melon and pineapple.

Thursday, 21 March 2013

Another good day...

So today has been a great one again!

Breakfast was 1/2 a cheesy marmite loaf, followed by a banana around am hour later.

Lunch was Batchelors Low Fat thai sweet chilli super noodles, an apple, and a pineapple yogurt.

Snacked on 2 necturines.

Dinner was lush!! At my besties and she made me a Gammon round with a poached egg on top, diced potatoes, mushrooms and tomatoes. Then for pud a Coconut Options at 1.5 syns and a MaltEaster Mini Bunny (best 3 syns of my life!!!)

Loving being back on plan, hopefully it pays off on the scales this week...

Back on it!

So yesterday was a good day! Back on plan and I have to say, I'm loving it!

Breakfast was cous cous, yogurt and banana.

Snacked on fruit during the morning.

Lunch was a seafood stick salad... Very yummy indeed! And a yogurt.

Dinner was whatever I could have quickly as I was off the the cinema. Jacket potato with beans and melon for afters.

Get to the cinema and my friend decides he wants nachos... But I didn't cave! I took 40g of rainbow drops (4 syns) and half a cheesy marmite loaf (1.5 syns) and it was lush!!

Today will follow suit and d'you know what?!? I'm glad to be back!!!

Tuesday, 19 March 2013

Sorry!!!

Sorry for not posting for a few days. Eaten well, but maybe a bit too samey. Lots of jacket potatoes, salad, chicken, gammon...

So today I have come to group and gained 1.5lbs :-(

Cosmo is now a massive no-no for me, and I will get back to doing my food diary and blog daily this week! I would like to have my 4 stone award by the last weigh in of April. Just in time for my wedding dress coming in, and a family holiday on 29th... That means 10lbs in 5 weeks, I can do it!!!

Friday, 15 March 2013

So much dedication!

So after my naughty night on Wednesday I am doing my upmost to lose this 2-3lbs this week!

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmite and a pineapple fat free yogurt.

Lunch was a jacket potato with beans and salad, then grapes.

Snacked on 2 plums and an apple.

Dinner was 2 chicken breasts, new potatoes and mixed veg (carrots, cauliflour and brocolli)

Just finished an hour of jumping around the living room doing Just Dance 4 on the xbox! Such a fun way to get in some exercise :-D

Now time for a bath and bed with a book. May even take some syn free sweet cous cous and a hot chocolate with me!

Thursday, 14 March 2013

Make up day...

So after the amount of syns I must have had yesterday, today was make up day!

Breakfast was 2 alpen light bars, activia strawberry snackpot and a plum.

Lunch was a superfree salad with 2 boiled eggs.

Dinner was Toby Carvery. Lots of meat and veg :-) shared an ice cream with the bestie instead of wolfing one down by myself! And ended up under syns for the day.

Now 5 syns a day or below for the rest of the week...

Wednesday, 13 March 2013

Not such a great end to the day!

So instead of stopping off for kebab last night I came home and ate a packet of ham! Random, I know, but it's what I really fancied! And saved on syns :-)

Breakfast this morning was 2 weetabix with warm milk and raspberries.

Had a food day at work, I took a syn free roulade and apple & cinnamon cous cous. Rather proud of myself as there were Millionaire Shortbreads, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, crisps (the list could go on!)... Basically all the things I love to snack on... I opted for salad, syn free curry with boiled rice (fellow sw members in my office!) and salad. Not a single syn passed my lips!

Wish I could say the same for dinner though!!! Cosmo with my dad, his girlfriend and her son. Lots of laughs, and lots of naughty food! I won't go into what I ate as it would make you feel as sick as I do right now!

At least I have the rest of the week to turn it around and hopefully I will lose that 3lb on Tuesday to not only get me my 3.5stone award but also under the 15 stone bracket for the first time in years!!

Double blogging

Busy day yesterday and was sooo tired by the time I got home so didn't post... Sorry!

Breakfast yesterday was breakfast cous cous (cous cous, cherry yogurt and foreat fruits)

Lunch was ham salad (lettuce, radishes, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, celery and ham)

Dinner was yummy! Mash with merybelle potatoes (they are so buttery so don't need to add any!!) 2 Weight Watchers Cumberland Sausages (1/2 syn each) cauliflour, brocolli and carrots. Pudding was half a syn free cherry bakewell roulade :-)

Breakfast today was 2 frylight eggs on 2 slices of wholemeal toast.

Rushed lunch so had an activia banoffee snackpot yogurt, an apple and satsuma.

Now at slimming world and am pleased to confirm I lost 3lbs this week!!!!

Not sure what I am going to have for dinner yet, maybe fish fingers, sw chips and beans at 5 syns... Or might even treat myself to a chicken kebab with mint sauce, lots of salad and no pitta at 5.5 syns!! :-D

Challenging day

Today was a difficult one. Mother's day and I had a family dinner at my sisters.

Breakfast was a bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette then a pear.

Lunch was a full sunday roast! Lamb, pork, brocolli, cabbage, carrots, roast potatoes and 1 yorkshire (not too bad on syns) I couldn't resist the profiterole gataeu for pud! Made me feel guilty afterwards but nothing I can do about it now :-(

No dinner due to the large lunch, but had half a honeydew melon.

Hoping this pud doesn't make me gain this week :-( but then I have been really good for the week so only time will tell!

Saturday, 9 March 2013

Busy day!

Today has been a busy one, filled with some wonderful people :-)

Breakfast was 2 alpen light bars and a banana.

Headed off to the cinema with my sister and nephews. Treated myself to a bag of Rainbow drops (well worth the 8 syns!) and a black coffee.

Shopping and visiting family so squeezed in some pineapple, melon and grapes for lunch.

Dinner was a meeting with a friend at Blunsdon Arms. Gammon, boiled potatoes, peas and 2 fried eggs with a large diet coke... Only 1 syn for the two eggs! Yummy!

Time for bed now, might snuggle up with movie and some honeydew melon :-)

Completely forgot!!

Oh dear! Completely forgot about blogging yesterday!

Breakfast was a cheese and ham toastie then a banana.

Lunch was roasted vegetable cous cous, necturine, fat free yogurt and a satsuma.

Dinner was another one out... Went to the dockle and had chicken and pepper skewers with rice and piri piri sauce (3tbsp equalling 3 syns) was rather yummy :-)

Today breakfast was a mushroom omelette and a banana. Alpen light at about 10am.

Lunch was cous cous mixed with yogurt and rasperries, satsuma and an alpen light.

Dinner didn't really happen but went to a fellow Slimming World member's house for a party where I snacked on syn free onion bajis and rice quiches :-) had a few syns on mini party rings but otherwise a pretty good couple of days! (and I didn't let a single drop of alcohol pass my lips tonight... Proud!!)

Feeling good!

Day one of a new week and I'm feeling positive!

Breakfast was breakfast cous cous (cous cous with yogurt and fruit) it was amazing! 2.5 syns for the yogurt as I bought a fat free one which turned out not to be syn free :-(

Snacked on a pear and a hifi bar, then late morning I had a little leftover breakie :-)

Lunch was jacket potato with beans and salad, then a necturine.

Alpen bar when I got home for the rest of my Healthy B.

Dinner was a big one! Date night with the hubby to be, so we went to The Harvester. Started with lots of superfree from the salad cart and a teaspoon of mayo at 1.5 syns! For main I had a mixed grill, Dan doesn't like steak so I swapped him for my sausage to save syns and I declined my onion rings (which is one of the hardest things I have done all day!) but I did have my fried egg at half a syn. Chose a plain jacket potato... Wishing I hadn't now though as that's two in one day! (Carb overload!!)

Home now and I am stuffed!

Only 5.5 syns all day and now time to snuggle on the sofa...

Tuesday, 5 March 2013

Moment of truth...

So tonight was weigh in night...

Breakfast this morning was a cheese and ham toastie with wholemeal bread... Was bloody lovely!

Lunch was a cous cous pot from asda... I really stuggle with the stuff, the texture can sometimes make me heave, but today it was tolerable!

Food taster at Slimming World and I brought along a Syn Free Cherry Bakewell Roulade (quick and easy!)

Tried lots of new things... kfc chicken, breakfast cous cous, syn free pate, chickpea loaf! Can safely say I am off to buy some new ingredients!

Gained 1/2 a pound this week... Think it came down to the fact it's my monthly week :-( 3lb target for next week though!

Monday, 4 March 2013

OTT on the 5 a day...

Evening all :-)

Today has been a healthy day! Breakfast again was an alpen bar and a banana (on a late tomorrow so will have something different!)

Another alpen bar as a snack at about 10am.

Lunch was yummy! Superfree/Super easy chilli :-) takes about 15 minutes! Frylight some meat free mince and onions until soft, add garlic, passata, chopped tomatoes and Aldi's Kidney beans in tomato sauce with chilli... Simmer for 10 mins, done!! Then had a yogurt and a fruit salad (kiwi, pineapple and mango)

Snacked on a bag of Salt and Vinegar Discos (7.5 syns)

Dinner was good too! Baked Salmon with roasted carrots, radishes and potatoes (with frylight) grapes and melon for pud.

Lots and lots of fruit and veg today, my belly is not liking me too much right now haha!

Only time will tell... Until then...

Crappy blogger!

Sorry for not updating again yesterday! Blogging daily is more difficult than I thought!!

Yesterday's breakfast was 2 hifi bars.

Was in town at lunchtime so had a hot chicken and bacon salad in Yates, very yummy! Hubby to be then treated me to a Xbox Kinect and Just Dance 4 so I can do plenty of body magic :-D

Dinner was a mixed grill from Harvester... Behaved myself and had no fried egg or onion rings and a plain jacket potato instead of chips. Plenty of superfree salad too. All round good day :-)

Today I had 2 alpen light bars for breakfast. (I hadn't been shopping so I didn't have much in)

Lunch was sliced chicken in the car on the way to my sister's for her to try her bridesmaid dress on (she looked stunning!)

Dinner was a bit more exciting though... Steak, Slimming World chips, carrots and asparagus.

Now I'm treating myself to fresh pinapple, a necturine and a fat free toffee yogurt :-)

I promise I will update tomorrow! Thanks for being patient xx

Saturday, 2 March 2013

Proud day...

Yesterday was a busy one. Rushing round here there and everywhere but I'm proud of myself for what I ate (or didn't eat!)

Breakfast was weetabix minis with 50ml of milk, fat free yogurt and a banana.

Lunch was a sweet chilli prawn sushi salad (YUM!) fat free yogurt and a selection of fruit (grapes, strawberries and blueberries)

Went along to my dad's house for dinner and movie night. Gary (dad's girlfriend's son) was fantastic! He made us a syn free Chicken Tikka Masala with corriander rice. I could even afford to treat myself to two poppadoms... It was delicious!! I took 2 low syn roulades, a syn free raspberry one and a 2.5 syn black forest one. Everyone enjoyed them too :-)

So overall was a brilliant day for food and the fact that others were so thoughtful to accomodate my needs was truly amazing! :-D
