Hectic couple of days!

Hi Guys and Girlies!

Sorry I didn't update yesterday, had a lot of last minute prep to do for a short notice interview this morning!

Breakfast yesterday was 2 weetabix, warm milk and chopped banana.

Lunch was a sweet thai curry Uncle Ben's Rice Time (my favourite so far!) fat free yogurt and a kiwi.

Dinner was my beloved Toby Carvery! Lots of meat and superfree veg :-) Snacks of 6 mini eggs and an apple.

Today I had 2 small hifi bars and a banana for breakfast... Quick and easy!

After 2 hours of being interviewed it would have been so easy for me to fall into old habits and grab a baguette but nope! Good old me had a salad from the hospital canteen and chose all the bits not saturated in sauces :-D

Treated myself to Chicken Kebab with lots of salad, mint sauce and no pitta... Yummy :-)

Now catching up on some tv before bed! Night all

Weigh in night...

So tonight was the first weigh in of Slim For Good and after all my hard work this week I lost 2.5lbs :-)

Breakfast this morning was 2 Weetabix with warm milk.

Lunch was Uncle Bens Spicy Tikka Masala Rice Time (on offer in Tesco for £1 each at the moment and they are really quite tasty!)

Got to Slimming World and had a Hifi Bar and I'm going home to have healthy chips, weight watchers sausages and mixed veg :-)

After a very trying day at work I am proud of myself for not wanting to stop into the chippy on the way home! (But I might treat myself to a low alcohol glass of wine!)

Set myself a mini target of a 3lbs loss for next week so wish me luck!

Day one...

Hi Guys!

So day one of Slim For Good went really well! Back at work after a difficult week last week and feeling good.

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal toast with marmite. Snack of an apple at about 11 and an Extra Strong Mint.

Dolmio PastaVita for lunch (the tomato and garlic one is LUSH by the way!!) with a fat free yogurt... I recommend staying away from raspberry flavour if you don't want to be picking the seeds out of your mouth all afternoon!

Dinner at the bestie's tonight so I suggested bringing the ingredients for a Quick Syn Free Chicken Tikka Masala... Overdid it with the yogurt but still edible haha! Then a banoffee Activia 0% fat yogurt... Yummy :-)

Had only 3 syns all day so I'm now off to bed with an Options Hot Chocolate :-)

Dipping my toe into the pool of blogging...

Thank you for coming to view my blog. I have never done this before and I have decided to give it a go to help with my dermination for my on-going weight loss.

A little about me, my name is Kat Woodward. I am 24 and engaged to marry a wonderful man called Dan. Our date is set for 14th September 2013.

I joined my local Slimming World Group on 4th September 2012 and was mortified to see that I topped the scales at a whopping 18 stone and 7.5 pounds! I knew that I was overweight, but I never knew it was to that extreme. For years I stayed away from the scales, turning a blind eye to my clothes getting tighter and upping in size. It look me trying on wedding dresses in August to realise that this wasn't the way I wanted to be anymore.

Since joining Slimming World I have lost 3 stone, and it has been enjoyable, but I still have a long way to do until my dream 11 stone target.

I have decided to join in with a fundraising event called Slimming World's Slim for Good. This starts on Monday 25th February and ends on Sunday 7th April, and I will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is what inspired me to start this blog!

If you would like to donate then please go to www.justgiving.com/kat-woodwardsfg :-)

I will be back on Monday with my first official weightloss blog!!

Until then...
Kat x
